I have been going to the Potholder for several years now and ALWAYS have a great experience. from MO, our server, to the manager, Kevin, everyone is always great. It may be a wait on the weekends, but it is worth it.

Every so often you get to a place for a meal, walk in, and feel that it is exactly the place you want to go. My wife and daughter and I found ourselves in Long Beach on a Sunday and were looking for a place for brunch. We found the Pot Holder Cafe and could not have been more pleased.... More

Old standby for breakfast for our family for over 30yrs. Quirky waitstaff, good eats, neverending coffee. What else do you need? Oh, those potatoes. You need those potatoes. And probly some pancakes ;)

I have been coming to this Long Beach Treasure for the better part of 30 years! I started eating here as a teenager and I still love coming here. Parking can be a bear and the wait on the weekends at times is HORRIFIC! But it's totally worth it! The Pot Holder Cafe is a Long Beach Institution and if... More

Huge menu, great staff and service. This is a must go breakfast place in Long Beach. If you're feeling brave do the Mac Daddy!

It was not bad, we were all pretty content with our selected breakfast dishes. My kid did not disappoint ...a bit of a wait but all in all it was pleasant. Service: Servers were personable, attentive, prompt and on it! Ambiance: Very casual, relaxing & cozy. Food: The "Huevos Rancheros" surprisingly were tasty and the eggs were cooked perfectly on... This local hot spot has it all! Great food, great waitstaff and funky atmosphere. If you go for Breakfast get in line, but believe me it's worth the wait. You won't leave hungry! A true Long Beach Classic.

This is a really solid place....food, service, price. And they have bloody mary's! My wife liked the corn beef hash, I had eggs and polish sausage. I would probably order something else next time. Probably check out the waffle. The sausage was so so. The potatoes are great, but if they had onions in them I would have raised the... More
