My girlfriend and I where in Long Beach for the day to do a Segway tour of the city. Our tour guide Landon suggested this little gem for pizza. What a great little place. The wood oven pizza was delicious as well as the cannoli for desert. All I have to say is yumm!

One of the joys of eating out on a holiday is joining the rest of the people who are celebrating for dinner. Michael's offered a wonderful Father's Day special. As usual, we found other things on the menu that looked great. The English Green Pea salad was amazing. The steak was tender and flavorful. The salmon was amazing.

My wife and I had not been to this restaurant for some time but had fond memories. The experience was better than we remembered. The menu and wine list are first rate. Our food was beautifully presented and simply wonderful. With the help of the sommelier, we had perfect pairing with the courses. The highlight was the Italian doughnuts with... More

Visiting the LA area for a few days and on Saturday night we had a reservation at Michael's on Naples. As big Italian fans we were hopeful of some authentic flavours and textures, and Michael's delivered. One of the key reasons we chose this restaurant was the wine list - extensive, with great quality Italian and American wines - a... More

Made reservations during the Dine Out Long Beach Restaurant Week 2.0 event to try a new place. But we were so intrigued with the Chef's Pasta Tasting Menu and wine pairing, we went with that instead. It did not disappoint. Every course was absolutely delicious and perfectly paired. Kimberley was just awesome, answering our questions and bringing the wine bottles... More

This has been a 'go to' for us for years, first time back since Chianinna opened. We started at the bar at 5:20 with Pete, the mixologist. It was his birthday, as well as his last day. He was leaving to fly over the pond and start a new chapter in London. This did nothing to impair his superior skills.... More

I had read many great reviews about this restaurant, so we asked some friends to join us. We got there right at 5 when they opened, but were informed we couldn't be seated until 615. Strange because many tables remained empty, even throughout our dinner. The bartenders were quite inattentive, never offering us a menu. Both seemed preoccupied and even... More

Went there for dinner with the family and was surprised by how good everything tasted from the arugula salad to the pizza and peach cobbler with ice cream. Yum!!

A friend spent the weekend with us and we topped it off with Dinner at Michael's. It did not disappoint. The wait staff is friendly and very knowledgeable and always gives great recommendations. Kevin, the manager, stopped by our table and chatted with us for a while - we do love that in a restaurant as it is not just... More

Met some friends here from out of town. It was midway between LA and Orange County and it worked out perfectly. We had a really nice leisurely dinner. The atmosphere was perfect for catching up and the staff was really cooperative. The meal was good with plenty of selections. Not knock your socks off, but certainly really good.
