The Gyro and greek salad combo is perfect and really filling. Come on a Friday and you have to try the Kleftico...slow cooked lamb...so delicious!

Over the years we have eaten here and at the Lakewood Restaurant. We have always been very pleased. This time we ordered six lamb chops and for $3.00 extra they split the order into two parts. The plate came with three lamb chops each and VERY LARGE portions of the rice and French Fries. The food was exceptional and the... More

We stopped for a late lunch, and asked to be seated inside. The street noise from 2nd Street is enough that carrying on a conversation is nearly impossible, and this was true even when seated at the closest table to the entry that we were given. We asked for a table farther within the restaurant and were told the other... More

Kyle was an excellent waiter. He was helpful with the menu and constantly came back to the table to make sure we were happy. We ordered Saganaki "Flaming Cheese" it comes with Kalamata Olives and is flamed by the table. If you like cheese try it. We ate every bite. We both had the Lamb Chop lunch with 2 sides.... More

Always enjoy eating at this hometown restaurant. The food is consistently tasty and fresh, the Greek saladstart and just right. Love the avegolemono soup! Generally the lamb, chops or roasted, delicious. Service almost always very helpful and nice. Atmosphere noisy and fun and very "Greek"! Prices great for a family. We love it.

Had a wonderful meal here. Staff were really nice, made you feel very welcome. Visited for a relatives birthday and even though there were quite a few of us we didn't have to wait long for the food. Great choice on the menu too!

After ordering I needed to use the mens room. One can always judge a restaurants practices by their bathroom by the way. The bathroom was filthy, urine on floor dirty toilet paper on lid, and no soap. Gross! The rest of the story is we left and went elsewhere. You must clean your bathroom George!

My husband and I heard about the great Greek food and Happy Hour which is everyday from 3-7 PM. We opted for the Belmont Shore location on a Friday night around 6PM and found a place at the bar. Mike, the bartender was extremely attentive but told us that the martinis are only offered at the Pine Street location. He... More

George's Greek Cafe welcomes you to "a little piece of Greece in Southern California." Our family-owned business is here to provide you with high quality food, craft cocktails, and an authentic Greek dining experience. Our restaurant has remained a favorite among the locals for one reason: we never compromise on our promise to provide fresh and delicious meals in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. We continue to follow Mama Rodou's recipes, which were passed down to her from her grandmother. We use only the finest imported ingredients, such as first cold pressed extra virgin olive oil from Greece and premium, hormone-free, grass-fed lamb from New Zealand. We want to extend an open invitation to you to dine at one of our restaurants. Whether you're looking to impress a date with an intimate wine tasting, reconnecting with family over Saganaki Flaming Cheese and lamb chops, or planning the perfect wedding reception for 500 of your closest friends, we are here for you. Come in, and feel like part of the family. OPA!
