Had heard about this place through TripAdvisor so thought would give it a try. Walked in, no sign saying wait to be seated. There was another family of four who walked in ahead of us. Since the restaurant is very small, my husband and I walked over to a table for two against the wall. Evidently we should have waited... More

My son and I stopped here on our way home from a trip to the Eastern Sierras. On the outside you don't expect much but much to our surprise, awesomeness was being served! I had a veggie egg white wrap with tons of avocado and tasty salsa. Coffee was strong and hot. My son had eggs and thick cut bacon... More

By far the most amazing breakfast in Lone Pine. Get there early, or prepare to wait!!! Our only complaint was our server acted like she would rather be somewhere else.

We stopped in on a Saturday morning and the place was packed! But the staff hustled and our wait was only about 15 minutes. My biggest problem was deciding what to have because everything looked fabulous! I had an omelet with arguably the best hash browns EVER! My hubby had one of the skillet specials and his eggs were cooked... More

This is a real gem!! This is the happening place for food and fellowship here in Lone Pine. (Even the walls have personality-- they're painted with interesting and informative murals that explain the area's geology and topography.) This is real Americana, as the many foreign visitors here have discovered. The menu is good, basic, filling fare. (Wish they had yoghurt!)... More

Anytime we travel north on 395, we always plan our trip to spend a night in Lone Pine JUST so that we can get up and have breakfast at the Alabama Hills Café. It really is that good! You might have to wait but it is worth it. My favorite: the Ironman Scramble. If you're there for breakfast, do miss... More

We read reviews on this cafe before our travels and it was definitely as good if not better than most. We had to wait about 5/10 minutes for a table but was worth the wait. The food was fab, portions are huge so probably best to not over order. You do feel quite rushed while eating here as it is... More

Other than a very loud and rather disturbing party of middle-aged American women hiker-tourists (who has obviously had the morning drinks along with their breakfast) we had a lovely breakfast here. Delicious fresh orange juice, and portions big enough to share, I had to take half my sandwich to go in a doggy bag. Definitely the place to go for... More

I wish I had a photograph of my lunch. The sandwich had more than an inch of rare roast beef (roasted in house) piled onto freshly baked bread. The side of fruit consisted of seven different fresh fruits individually (and artistically) arranged on the plate. It wasn't a stale soggy mixed fruit salad. This was a little pile of about... More
