I was happy with my meal and so were the other two in my party. They make delicious cookies as well.

This place is small but amazing. I had the eggs Benedict made with fresh spinach & tomato. It was gigantic. Be sure to bring you appetite since everything I saw was large. A must stop for a good breakfast.

This is a favorite of ours on our trips to Owen's Valley. It is also right across the street from Dow Villa Motel, our place to stay. We ordered an omelet which we split. My husband had a side of biscuits and gravy. The walls are covered with pictures of the Alabama Hills formations in a hand done map. Great... More

If you like pie, Alabama Hills Cafe and Bakery is the place to eat in Lone Pine. Located on a side street this little restaurant/bakery is a step back into the 50's. It's just a great little place for breakfast or lunch. Their pie is the greatest. There were two whole pies sitting out and I was not given a... More

Great breakfast -- anything you want. They also bake great loafs of bread to take on the road. Walls are decorated with a map of the Alabama Hills. We took pictures of the murals on the walls guide us through unusual landscape nearby.

My wife was born in Lone Pine and each time we visit we come here for breakfast. We just returned from a family gathering and had breakfast here twice. Food: the food is always just wonderful, with large portions. When leaving, take a home baked pastry to go for the road. Service: always excellent. The wait girls have this down... More

We enjoyed a hearty bowl of oatmeal and the Iron Man's Scramble. Service was professional if not remarkable. The only disappointment was that the honey served with the oatmeal was not from California but from Brazil. Coffee was decent.

Had heard about this place through TripAdvisor so thought would give it a try. Walked in, no sign saying wait to be seated. There was another family of four who walked in ahead of us. Since the restaurant is very small, my husband and I walked over to a table for two against the wall. Evidently we should have waited... More
