It might seem so from the outside, but this place has genuinely good Mexican food and friendly service. We had vegetarian burritos, which were good and relatively healthy. The kids ate taco's and quesadillas and were happy too.

After having some truly mediocre Mexican food in the big city, i wasn't holding out much hope for anything great in the small town of Lone Pine. i was so happy when i got my food at Bonanza! The chili relleno was among the best i have ever eaten. Not only was the chili flavorful (full of seeds for some... More

Stopped by on a hot summer day in Lone Pine. We were promptly greeted by friendly staff and sat at a spacious booth. There's not A/C but lots of ceiling fans which were perfect. The chips are homemade and delicious, as is the salsa. The iced tea is excellent and served in nice, large mugs. I had the enchilada combo... More

Stopped here on our way to Bridgeport. It was really hot and it was nice to be inside and cool. But really an average place for dining. Not much here. OK food. OK atmosphere. OK service.

Very good Mexican food at a reasonable price.Stayed three nights in Lone Pine and would have eaten there more than once but wanted to try other local establishments.

We stopped on our way to Yosemite for lunch. The menu looked great and the service was fast and friendly. We had different meals but both felt that our food was pretty dry and tasteless. It was actually quite a disappointment. Restroom was clean.

We sampled nachos, chile verde and their tamales. All were good, including the beans and rice accompaniment. Best of all was the chile verde.

The food was good but I am totally not satisfied, because they charged me $37,00 instead of the $31,00 incl. service at my visacard. Probably the waitress has changed is!!

We stopped here for dinner on our way to Mammoth. The food is actually a 2 .... all entrees were extremely bland. I am pretty sure the black beans were straight from the can with no spices. The red wine was from a box. I gave this review a 3, b/c our waitress was very nice and the food came... More

After spending the day in Death Valley, we arrived almost at closing time at this great restaurant. Staff was very friendly and we were still able to order some food, which became one of the most tasteful Enchilada's and Burrito's we ate during our trip! Highly recommendable to eat here!
