We love this place. Pros: Servers are friendly and attentive. The food is yuuuuummmy. HUGE fluffy omelettes, the best pancakes EVER (they just SOAK up the butter and syrup). Love the Americana decorations and the cute American flags on all the plates. Cons: Expect a 30 min+ wait on weekends. A little expensive (we order the large combo meal and... More

American Host is a great restaurant that all the locals know about. It is quite busy on the weekends because it is so good. My family loves the pork chops, ham, omelets, waffles & pancakes. The burgers are great too, especially the CA bacon avocado burger. We go there frequently on Saturday mornings & have never been disappointed!!!

This is my hometown go to. Where everybody knows your name. I buy these guys christmas gifts. I will not eat breakfast anywhere else in town. They have an amazing breakfast gravy. They have by far the best chicken fried steak I've ever had.!!! A must have. Home fries are great big chunks of potatoes with onions and bell peppers.... More

This was a busy restaurant but we were seated and received our order in a timely manor. Seems to be a spot the locals know. I had French Toast Combo.

This is one of the restaurant we usually go when we have safety meeting. We come 7 am and they have full of people eating there. They have good service as well as food.

Love the breakfast and the service! Always topnotch and worth a return visit. I've returned here several times but can't seem to branch out from my favorite breakfast. ....corned beef hash. Was at an event catered by American Host during September. It was EXCELLENT! The salmon and salad were definitely note worthy.

We found this "local gem", on Trip Advisor". We were advised the wait would be 15 minutes. 2 minutes and we were seated. Coffee was served immediately. Even though they were busy, our breakfast was served in less than 15 minutes. Scrambled eggs were fluffy, biscuit with ham, cheese and gravy were good. The poached eggs and pancakes were both... One of our favorite places to eat breakfast. Large portions, good food. Popular place for locals to eat.
