I wanted to try here from the reviews. Well not really a fan. I ordered a coffee and a croissant (while i was ordering, i assume she was the owner, was complaining to the girl taking my order. Thought thats kinda rude and the girl looked a little embarrassed.) Seven people were helped before i got what i ordered. And... More

Family owned and operated and full of a wide variety of pastries, this is a Livermore weekend hotspot on Saturday and Sunday mornings. The coffee comes in these ridiculously small cups but the staff refill and refill and will even agree with you that the cups are too small. There are usually two gluten free selections on the menu. One... More

Hi, Thank you for your kind words. I hope you and your family will visit us again. As far as the gluten free, ask one of our staff for an almond pear cuplette. I know it has butter in it, but maybe you could try a few bites. I think you will find a new favorite. Also, most of our... More

I rolled into Livermore about 10:00 am for a family visit, planning on wine tasting before they got home from work/school. As I drove through downtown Livermorre I realized it was too early for the wineries to open and saw Casse-Croute bakery. I ordered a cup of their French Press coffee and an Almond croissant - both the best I've... More

Stopped here for Mothers day when the downtown movie theater was sold out for our movie and we decided to take a walk around Livermore. It was way better than the movie. It was crowded but the line moved fast. We got the croissant and a few sweet treats for our family. The owner Lanore was very helpful and sweet... More

Stopped into this bakery to check their goodies even though there are a number of bakeries in a few short blocks downtown Livermore. We were not overly impressed with the visual display of the baked goods but the worker Sheila was very out going and on our way out was sure to tell us that they also had homemade soups... More

If you want a real croissant, with buttery flavor (not oversized, or pre-fab/pre-frozend and then baked)...made on the premises daily, then this is the place. Not since traveling in France have I had a croissant this good. All the of other baked goods are lovely. Everything is great quality and delicious. The owners are so personable and clearly put their... More

When you look out the street you feel you are in a french village, as this is the atmosphere inside - simple quiches, good coffee - all made on site by Lenore and her French Brother in Law

Thank you so much for your kind words. Richard and I had a little laugh because that brother in law you referred to is actually my husband. We really appreciate your support. Thank you again, Lenore and Richard Denoix More

We were in search of good coffee while staying in nearby Pleasanton, and after trying several places and finding them lacking, we found this place! The coffee was delicious, and the pastries were even better! If you are anywhere near Livermoore, do not miss this!!

The breads and pastries are oh so fresh and the service so very friendly, you'll want to linger here. Wonderful sandwiches, very authentic, along with hearty, good-for-you soups. Highly recommended!

Cases-Croute offers a very nice, casual option in downtown Livermore. The French-themed menu and decor feels reasonably authentic. The food is thoughtfully prepared, tastes great, and satisfies a craving for a touch of Paris...but a direct comparison to a Paris cafe isn't fair.

Description
We want to primarily make and supply artisan bread and baked goods based on the highest quality ingredients, particularly flour. Our customers will not only enjoy the quality and taste of our bread, but also experience the atmosphere of a typical French country bakery. As people have come to appreciate wine, they will be inspired by the simplicity and art involved in the baking of bread using "levain", the traditional French leavening method. Our flour is non-GMO, only organic cage-free eggs are used and all soups are homemade using only the finest local ingredients.
