Well, we were renting a home across the street (Hwy 1) and went in to buy mustard or some type of condiment for a sandwich . Low and behold an amazing selection of beer , wine, spirits!. Baked goods, some cooked right on the spot...deli items- very impressed!More
Little River Deli is good to grab some quick, pre-made sandwiches or made-to-order items, grab chips, cookies and a bottle or two of wine to take on a picnic or back to the room for a quiet lunch. The Deli is about as inexpensive a...meal as you can get in Mendocino or Little River. With the freshness comes a quality too. These aren’t your normal “grab-n’-go” type sandwiches. They are so full of ‘fixings’ that it is almost impossible to get them in your mouth without actually removing some of the contents.
I recommend Little River Deli for easy picnic fixings or a quiet, economical meal to take back to the inn.More
We stopped in to grab some soft drinks and get recommendations for touring the area. Ended up also buying a bottle of wine from one of the local vineyards. Good advice from the fellow working there that evening. Nice and clean, with some fresh deli...choices.More
One of the only markets between Little River and downtown Mendocino. Totally recommend stocking up here before checking into any local B&B. Especially if you’re headed into town from the south. Easy access right of Highway 1. They have a great selection of wine, food...and alcohol.More

Indoors, there is a small counter facing the ocean and some tables. I would suggest grabbing your food and taking it up the road to Van Damme State Park. The actual park is on the east side of the road and a nice beach on the West side of the road. It is a short 5 minute drive North of the deli.
