We have enjoyed many Breakfast meals here before and it has always been excellent. However this trip, my wife menu item, the Biscuits and gravy meal was warm only. My ham steak and eggs was excellent. Our friends chicken fried steak was excellent. Our side...of Bacon was excellent. Service was excellent as usual. Remember to be there early on weekends because they were starting a (Waiting List) when we were leaving.More

I visited the Auburn Awful Annies last year and this one in Lincoln this year. I loved the quaint ambiance. Food was so good, the veggie burger fabulous. It was not very crowded so we were able to have a very leisurely lunch. I enjoyed...all the bric a brac to enhance the atmosphere. Service was excellent and tasting allowed.More

This is our first visit at my wife's request. We have dined at the Annie's restaurant on Greenback Lane in Orangevale many times. This restaurant is not associated with that establishment. It's sad that BUSINESSES did not make it through the Covid-19 shut down period....However this restaurant is thriving (no help from the political leaders in this Liberal state). Great service and great ENTREES were provided. We will be back and be there early. It was crowded. Excellent meals and service.More

It was only a 5 minute wait to be seated then another 5 to take our order. After 35 minutes the bacon came and our food came 5 minutes after. The thing I couldn’t figure out was that the table next to us, 2 persons...too, got seated only about 10 - 15 minutes prior to us getting our food, got their’s right after we got ours. The food was decent and the atmosphere was good. After a 5 minute wait, we got up to go pay since our waitress didn’t come back after giving us our to go box. The price tag for this breakfast was $50. I’m not sure if it was worth it compared to other restaurants.More

Nothing awful about Awful Annies! You might have to wait, but it is worth it. Go hungry as the portions are huge. Exceptional omelets, cinnamon raisin French toast, and the only place I’ve ever seen with bacon flights. (Like a beer tasting, but with bacon.)...good coffee, friendly service.More

We've been going to Awful Annie's since 1980 in Auburn, and occasionally we make it to the newer Lincoln downtown location. The food is delicious, and always fresh and hot with many unique items on the menu. Service is professional and spot on with hot...coffee continuously refilled. Our favorites are the omelettes and warm muffins, but you can get steak & eggs and chicken fried steak & eggs too. This is one of our all-time favorite restaurants for a good breakfast, and we've never been disappointed at Awful Annie's. You owe it to yourself to visit this place, you'll soon love it too. Consistently excellent.More
