It was supposed to be a special farewell meal. Half right. The Coors was still on happy hour, so my brother and I asked for that. No apologies, we like cold Coors light. This was not cold. The beer chiller had been off, but it...came to the table anyway. Not for long, it was sent back. Now closer to the meal, we ordered a Merlot instead. There are a lot of tasty house quality wines on the market. Again it was a disappointment. The special was a scampi linguini. Two of us ordered that. Two others ordered a scampi pomodoro. Same dish, different bowl as it turned out. The pasta was over cooked. I wish now I would have skewered the glob and raised the entire entre for the camera. Precisely 4 prawns on my plate. My Mother left hers uneaten. Also, one anticipates a garlic butter sauce with scampi. This was more Alfredo on its best day. The waitress, nice enough, said this is the way we make it. Okay, but call it something else. Reminds me of an old joke… ‘not very good and small portions’. Anyway, the joke was on the 5 of usMore

I walked in with my sister while visiting her in Lincoln, CA, and we pleasantly surprised by Buonarroti's -- nice atmosphere! It was down hill from there. The wait staff (of which there were plenty) were rushing around as if they just couldn't keep up,...but the restaurant wasn't that crowded (not enough training). The Caesar salad was actually perfect -- not always the case. My chicken piccata was almost iInedible -- I suspect it was cooked sous vide. It was rubbery and without flavour -- hard to do with piccata. I've had better in a college cafeteria. I boxed most of it hoping I could resurrect it for lunch. Two minutes in a frying pan with a few more capers and some lemon it was delicious. Try Olive Garden instead of Buonarroti's if you are in the mood for mediocre Italian food.More

We had a lovely dinner here last week with another couple. It has great atmosphere. We felt like we were in New York or San Francisco at a small intimate restaurant. They serve really nice warm bread with the garlic butter. To start. The mixed...green salad lettuce was very fresh and crisp. I ordered the butternut squash raviolis with a cream sauce and they were very good. Next time I them I am going to request just with olive oil on them. My husband had the spaghetti and meatballs it was outstanding. I do not know why I have not ordered that in ages. The sauce was really really good. We had it for leftovers the next day and next time I go I will be ordering spaghetti with meatballs. It was a very busy evening but the Service flowed very nicely for us.More

Fo0d was ok. Manager/owner was extremely rude. We will never go back! He was especially nasty with our son. Was a busy evening - but the tables were cluttered with dirty dishes and glasses! Other customers were also upset!

My son and his wife took me and my wife here to celebrate his wife's birthday. They had eaten here several times, but our first. The restaurant is located in.an old brick building that looks like a warehouse. Would never guessed a nice restaurant would...be inside. Service was great, and the food was Italian dining fantastic. And reasonablely priced. Dining area is very cozy and quiet. Will definitely return.More

On arrival informed one server short and there may be a little wait. We were a group of 4 After 10 minutes ordered wine , further 10 minutes gave meal order, further 10 minutes asked why wine had not arrived, waitress apologized and returned from...bar saying the wine had been ready and was in ice bucket and had been overlooked. Souvignon Blanc was chiled nicely and of a good palate. Food arrived, total disaster all 4 dishes were awash with a sauce, described by one of us as a sloppy mess. The condition of the food was pointed out to the waitress who apologized and offered free sweet courses, which were declined. Bill arrived and after discussion the waitress deleted the cost of the food and we paid for the wine, which in all fairness was excellent value We all felt sorry for the position the waitress had been left in by the management. My husband and I went her for date night and we were really hoping to love this place since it is right in our little town.I can't even remember what I ordered, because I sent it back. The pasta was mushy, and the sauce was...just meh. I don't remember what the second dish was either because it was also just as bad. The best part about the meal was my glass of wine.More

I am not certain but I don't remember any lunch hours and at 5pm we were the second table being seated. Sorry but my guess is that they are not open for lunch.
