We are from Texas so expectations were high when we heard about coops. Sweet tea, homemade cornbread, and sides. Sauce was great with different options and healthy portions. Brisket was a little dry but besides that ribs, portions, and service on point! Just look for the smoke and the smell of deliciousness.

Been here probably a dozen times, excellent flavor, great service and good vibe. It's become a go-to spot when I want to treat friends to some good food!

Family that lives in San Diego recommended we try it and we were not disappointed. Had a couple of the baked potatoes stuffed with pulled pork and they were awesome. Had the potato salad, macaroni, and baked beans...all were great! Every time we stop in SD we will be eating here.

We've eaten here several times and have really enjoyed the food. So we decided to use Coop's to cater a party. The food (pulled pork, chicken and links) was excellent and we couldn't have been more satisfied.

Great beef ribs and brisket. The sauce is wonderful. I would highly recommend Coops for really good Bar-B-Que.

You haven't experienced true BBQ until you have tasted Coops! They don't need to serve their meat doused in BBQ sauce and heavy spices. Before you open the door you can smell the wood-fire burning. They do have 3 sauces to choose from which is given on the side. And their sauces are awesome! But, believe me. One bite without... More

Very small establishment but the BBQ was amazing. brisket sandwich although smaller than expected was mouthwatering and brisket was super tender, loaded baked potato was tasty and very well supplied with meat n fixings, rip tip plate was good to the last bite. Overall the meats were tender and tasty, baked beans a bit to sweet for my taste, red... More

I have been here a few times and the food is great! Keep in mind this is a small restaurant but you can always pick up your food and take it to go. Seating and parking are limited but the food is the bomb! Give it a try as I think you will enjoy it as well.

Went to get the fried chicken, but based on smaller than expected portion sizes (no chicken only option?) and wait time (15-20 minutes after ordering), decided to order BBQ from the sister (original) restaurant across the parking lot. After reading reviews, decided to go for the 1lb meat only (1/2 lb brisket, 1/2 lb pork ribs). Since, I wasn't told... More
