No joke, this gas station has better food and views than most Michelin starred restaurants. Go for the fish taco's, and you'll think you are in San Diego. The grilled Ahi Tuna? OMG Drooling! Add in the amazing views of the lake and mountains, and...this is easily the greatest gas station experience you will ever find. Oh, and the bathrooms are clean enough to eat in as well.More

Restaurant is closed for season and the website GAVE ZERO NOTICE. Drove 3 hrs from Oakhurst for no reason. Yosemite park ranger visited last weekend and raved. Told us we must visit. I checked the website last night. I saw reduced hours which made sense...but no notice that they closed.More

Excellent breakfast, yummy burgers...honestly, it's all good. Don't drive by without stopping for a meal. There's plenty of seating both indoors and out.

Who would have thought such a manicured place could be here at the entrance of the Tioga Pass. Views are lovely and the food is delicious!

We ate here a few times and everything was great! We were evacuated during a recent fire and they feed us three times. We only went for breakfast but everyone was very happy with the choices. We had the breakfast burrito sooo good, the ham...and cheese croissant and I even had an omelet one day! Everything was great! Thanks for feeding us and I hope to come back again some day!More

pricey but worth it. Varied and higher end menu. Best food for MILES! Also a decent market and souvineers.

Good variety of great tasting food. I saw this place on tv and wanted to try it next time I was in the area. We ate here two days in a row. Not cheap, but good.

I was skeptical to have dinner at a gas station but I had to see what all the hype was about and I'm glad I did. I ordered the "famous" fish tacos and they were absolutely delicious! My kids ordered the vegetarian chili & cornbread...which was pretty good. The store is also super cool, I wanted to buys everything as they sell really fun stuff from souvenirs, camping items to frosty cold beer. If your in the area I would definitely go here to eat and while your at it fill up on gas!More

A very good friend told me, before our RV trip to Lee Vining, that I needed to eat at Whoa Nellie ...and that he would pay for my meal if I didn't like it. Well... he owes me. I ordered the Buffalo Meatloaf. It was...served with very-aldente spaghetti squash and another non descript side. The consistency of the buffalo meatloaf was more like buffalo chips. Overall the meal was not very flavorful, which was disappointing for the price (I think it was close to $30). My wife enjoyed her Fish Tacos, but her Mango Margarita tasted more like a very watered-down Mango Smoothie with very little Mango blended in. It was closer to mango flavored water blended with ice without much flavor, and almost no alcohol (maybe they forgot the alcohol?), at a price of $8. I might eat here again, but I will definitely not order from the prospective "gourmet" selections again. Maybe just a burger next time. After a long day of hiking, the meal was a disappointment.More

There is a great grassy patio area with tables outside, great view, great for dogs. Several diners had their dogs with them when we dined.
