Had a good drink and enchiladas that were very good as well. Did not care for the dessert of flan. Friendly and quick service.

Felt the need for some food before completing the trip home, pulled off I-5 in Grapevine to see what was available. Don Perico's caught my eye, and the thought of some good Mexican food took hold of me. I was surprised at the size of the restaurant, bigger than I thought it would be, and very nicely appointed. My order... More

What a surprise! The food was excellent and the margaritas were great. The service was good. A well kept restaurant

I was traveling north on I-5 and became tired of the heavy holiday traffic. I took the Grapevine exit and found a room at a motel next door. While the decor is dated, the burrito was amazing. Their salsa has the right amount of heat for my liking. They also had some of my favorite beers on tap I will... More

We walked over here from the Ramada. It was fast and friendly service. The food was good and filling.

We stopped for a night at the nearby hotel & ventured in here for a beer. Friendliest, most genuine welcome we've had during our week in California. Beer was good, food was great, and the staff were great. Will definitely be back!

We didn't expect much, but only wanted a margarita and a light meal and there were no restaurants without driving down the freeway. This is dated in its decor and the service homey. We were surprised by the fabulous home made Mexican food. The carnitas was superb. I ordered an avocado salad which was in a mini tortilla bowl with... More

This was one of the dirtiest restaurants we have eaten in. The entry door glass was filthy. The windows by our booth were full of cobwebs. There were flies throughout the restaurant. When we walked in for dinner, there was only one customer in the restaurant when we entered and no employees in sight. The customer must have either worked... More

For those looking for a reasonable place to eat halfway between San Francisco and Los Angeles on Interstate 5 or Hwy 99, I would recommend the Mexican restaurant Don Perico, next to the Ramada Inn (west side of freeway). The food is very good with an extensive menu. Service is excellent, the dinning area roomy and pleasant, and the prices... More

This surprisingly good Mexican restaurant sits in a small exit on I-5 at the foot of the “Grapevine grade”. It only shares the location with a Shell station and convenience store and a very rest full Ramada Inn (separate review). It has great food in both quality and quantity. The menu is extensive and the flavors are a delightful blend... More
