I was there with 3 friends and we all enjoyed the pasta here ! Also the garlic fries are amazing. Especially the lake view makes this location special!

I really want to like this place but again they have disappointed me. Walked in the front door and smelled stinky fish...not a good sign (fresh fish doesn't smell). Though my salad was fine our entrees were swimming in oil (see pictures). I had shrimp and grits- very bland, not creamy grits and surrounded by oil. My friend asked to... More
It’s an unassuming, casual, bare-wood place with astonishing, innovative takes on old favorites. Being from the South, I know my shrimp and girts, but this California restaurant creates a new take that’s richer and deeper than any I’ve had. There was nothing but splendor in every bite, from appetizers to dessert, for my entire party. The affordable wine list is fun,... More
You can find a relaxing atmosphere in this place. Sitting outside looking over at the lake ~ this is an unhurried place to have a nice meal with friends or family. I really enjoyed my food and the environment.
My experience has been, if you know someone, you get better service. Lots of locals gather here to be seen. The food is ok. It's rather expensive and theres not much view, considering its on the lake. Its a small place so it looks busy most of the time.
Park place is remodeled and the decor is modern. Staff is very attentive. The quinoa and mushroom hamburger is the best burger I have ever had. Grandma enjoyed the pork lion and loves the garlic mash potatoes. Love to visit every time I'm in town.
I have visited Park Place often over the years both for lunch and dinner. The food is consistently good. The wait staff is experienced, professional and friendly. Depending on the season outside seating is also available. All in all, a very nice dining experience.
Indoor, outdoor dining. Wide selection of meals. Everyday has several specials. Food is always yummy! WONDERFUL STAFF

LETTER TO "PKLUTTRULL"
In response to your review on Saturday night, I'm a bit confused with your recollection of the night. I was your server and I greeted your table immediately, got you a sprite and coke and promptly took your order. Fresh baked bread was brought to your table.( we only bake a few loaves at a time to ensure quality) When your dinner was ready my coworker brought it to your table because I was assisting other patrons. As soon as I finished putting in the order I returned to your table and asked if everything was okay, which you replied yes. I offered to fill your sodas which were half full and returned them to your table. I returned again during your meal to check on your dinners and was never told about the concern over the pork being a bit pink. If you had told me I would have let you know that we do brine our pork, which retains something color, and cook to temperature. However, if you still have concerns, I would've been more than happy to return your dinner to the chef so he could have cooked the pork longer or would have offered you another meal if you wanted that instead. When you are finished with your meals I returned again to clean the plates and asked if you'd like any dessert. You said no. While I was printing your check the chef had asked me if you enjoyed your meal. So when I dropped off the check I specifically asked how the food was. Again, there was no mention of any problems so I thanked you , you paid your bill and left. As somebody who has several food allergies, specific preferences and limited food choices because of my diet, I do not mind at all fixing any dish or, accomodating it to your liking. As a waitress I strive to do my best to provide excellent service. I am the link between your food and the kitchen so without communication I cannot do my job effectively. So I'm asking if you can come back and let us make it right this time. Our goal is to make great food and have our customers enjoy their dining entire experience.if you felt differently we want to fix that and make sure your questions and concerns are addressed so we can make it right. I apologize for any miscommunications on my part. parkplace is a great restaurant that's been in business for over 28 years. I am proud to work there. Please accept my apologie and come back and give us another chance.
