The food was just ok, and we had to wait an eternity for it. The staff had no idea who was doing what. It was all in all a nightmare!

Our group of 8 stopped in on a Tuesday night looking for some pizza. We were greeted with a "how many are you" "hold on". Then a list of excuses, I'm the only one here and a party of 9 just came in. Plus I just smashed my hand. She seemed put out to be working but I blame the... More

After being turned off by the mall horror of Highway 5 we stumbled upon Allyson's, just north of Shasta Lake. Fun local place. Relaxed, great service and a very good lunch. We had a ways to go so we couldn't try any of the many brews they had available. Nice break from the Highway 5 blues.

Very friendly owner. We love to support small business. We only tried one of their pies. The combo pie was great with fresh ingredients. If we were in the area, we would visit again.

We visited Allyson's midweek, and it was our first visit, so we have nothing to compare this visit with..if it was a normal night or not. We were staying a few miles down the road, and this place was recommended as a possible place for dinner. It is not hard to find as it is just off the highway and... More

I had called about 7min before their closing and instead of turning us away, they stayed open for us to get food! I was happily shocked! People just don't do that anymore. The owner (not Allyson as the restaurant is named after her daughter), was so damn sweet, she made my heart melt. We had split pea soup, salad, pizza... More

Best pizza we've had since leaving Chicago. Bright colorful atmosphere and the owner is super friendly and helpful. Don't leave with out trying the key lime pie.

We stopped by here for dinner and Cheryl, the owner (the restaurant is named Allyson's after her daughter), waited on us and cooked our meals which did not take long. We both thought the food here was better than Yak's further north on Highway 5 in Dunsmuir. We had the cheeseburger with the potato salad and the BLT with the... More

My aunt and I are visiting Mt. Shasta this weekend. We landed in Sacramento, and have been driving all day to make our destination. We were starving when we happened upon Allyson's. My aunt got the vegetarian pizza and I got the honey ham and cheese sandwich. The pizza was beautifully presented! My sandwich tasted super!
