Unique place to come to for a beer and decent grub. The weekends get a lot of traffic from the "Week-end warrior" biker crowd. I never had an issue with the bikers, staff or the locals. They had an open mic night on Fridays that was always fun to go to, though I am not sure whether they still have... More

This is a fun little getaway from the city. Restaurant is clean and people are friendly. There is actually a hotel on the second floor with rooms for $80 a night. Order the corn fritters and beer battered fries....yum!!!

A real favorite, the ultimate in casual with attitude, hosts about 100 Harleys on weekends, good vibe, grub, live music. Bartenders Robin or Beau always get your order right, to you quickly. Hearty American food.

The Rock Inn is a great restaurant whether you want breakfast, lunch, dinner, a drink or entertainment. I might go so far to say The Rock Inn is heart of this little community of 500 people. This time we went for breakfast. They have great prices and you won't go away hungry. Normally if you go on Monday you can... More

My husband lived a chunk of his life up in Lake Hughes. The Rock Inn is a staple of this community and well worth going in and having a drink and some lunch. The food is pretty darn good and the service is excellent.

Interesting old dive/inn in Lake Hughes. Had dinner on a Tuesday night - patty melt was great with a nice salad instead of fries. Burger was really good. Also had decent breakfast there. Scheduled music on evenings, Service was good though it was fairly quiet in the middle of the week. Nice place with character. Reasonable prices.

This is a historic, if somewhat typical, little bar/restaurant in the Lake Hughes area on the road between Gorman and Lancaster. The food is better done than most cafes of this type and they have (pretty decent) live music many nights of the week and Sunday afternoons (see their website for who's playing).

The Rock is in a very nice location in Lake Hughes, local bar with a lot of outdoor seating and very friendly service. A biker bar if you will....every weekend it's packed with motorcycles of all types, classic cars, great people. Food is always good...I love the fried pickles and burgers, BBQ sandwiches are good too - they have a... More

They have without a doubt the best hamburgers you will find. They use Harris Ranch beef and the flavor is wonderful. Their breakfasts are really good too. This is a little funky place with great food.
