We live in Marin County and have driven past Arti’s on way to Point Reyes many times. We’ve seen Arti’s Indian restaurant and love Indian food, but the timing was never right.
With the quarantine though we decided to carry out and enjoy the drive. Not only was the evening drive beautiful, but the food was excellent with subtle favors and spices in our favorite dishes - chicken tikka Marsala, lamb vindaloo, nan, samosa chat. When things open up or before, we’re there!

Enjoyed an early dinner outside. The food was quite good with decent sized portions. Prices are reasonable. Many special accomodations such as gluten free. My dog was welcome. I would definitely return.

My husband and I were staying in Olema without much choice for restaurants so we decided to eat here. I myself am not much a fan of spicy food, but I was not disappointed! I had the pesto naan and the garlic chicken fried bites that were both excellent. The sauces that came with the chicken were both amazing! My husband had the tandoori chicken and had really good flavor and was juicy. If we are ever in the area again we will come back!

Terrible service. I stood for almost 10 minutes before anyone even looked at me. then I was informed I missed order at the counter when I'm ready. So I stood at the counter with the menu closed and the guy behind the counter still refuse to even look in my direction. After 15 minutes without ordering, I left.

I have had a lot of Indian food in my life being from queens New York. Arti’s is my favorite. The food is delicious and you can adjust the heat to super hot, which I love. Arti and his staff are welcoming. It’s such a nice surprise to find great Indian food in West marin.

The food here is as good as it gets for a small local place. I live in the neighborhood and am so grateful to have Arti as my go to for weeknight dinner and special occasions. Highly recommended. The Naan is the bomb.

We found this place by random luck and were very impressed with the quality of the food. Most Indian restaurants seem to provide steamer trays of spicy oily slop that is poured over rice. Usually tasty enough but no texture or appearance.
This place had very nice individually prepared portions of a wide variety of dishes. The fried items (you can't avoid fried items in Indian cooking) were not oily. Three brands of Indian beer, I did not look at the wine list, there is a store selling wine next door where you can get something if the restaurant does not have any.
Live music was inoffensive.

Arti's is located in a small shopping mall, amongst the last businesses on Sir Francis Drake before you head west into the redwood forest and ultimately end up in Olema. Great pesto naan. Wonderful chicken karahi and chicken pakora. Try the lamb naan. Order chat. And consider the chicken curry with mushrooms. Many vegan selections. Nice ambiance. Home-style cooking. White table cloths. Easy parking.

In the tiny village of Lagunitas is one gem of a restaurant. Absolutely delicious, authentic Indian food and it's organic to boot! The staff is friendly and the cafe is cute and cheery. It's right at the gateway to Samuel P Taylor State Park and the Point Reyes National Seashore, so it's a perfect place to stop on your way to/from your hiking, biking or camping adventure.

A tiny Cafe in a non- descrip strip mall turned out to be amazing. My lamb curry was the tenderest I have ever eaten, including in India. The white tablecloths lend a lovely touch along with fresh roses...the service was gentle and efficient and the rice lightly spiced with cardamom was great. If you are traveling on France's Drake to spirit Rock or
Pt Reyes, do stop and give yourself a treat

After hiking in Pt Reyes it was the closest restaurant with vegan items on the menu. The food was disappointing with lackluster service. I'm sure it is a hit with locals but hardly worth the drive just to eat there. If you need a vegan menu in the area Arti's is the place.

Went back to Cafe Arti and are glad to see that they still maintain the same quality of taste and freshness in their organic meals - with an expanded menu. We tried some of the new wraps - gluten free for us, and we pleasantly delighted by the flavors of the lamb and rice. The decor is beautiful and we chose to eat al fresco with our dogs - on the patio. Noel (Frankie) the owner has a generous heart and is always smiling. His happy attitude is contagious. We enjoyed our lunch and so did the 6 friends we brought with us!

It's always a surprise to find a good ethnic food resturant in an out of the way location but ... I love Indian food and this resturant meets my high standards. Most of their ingredients are local and organic and you can taste that.
They have all of then Indian favorites but I find some of their less common dishes really shine. My favorite is Mali Kofta. Also good is their Pesto Nan which is a nice head nod to California cuisine.
Great stop on your way back from west Marin.

Locals probably won't tell you about this wonderful little restaurant, and maybe it's just too far off the beaten path for most tourists, but it's a great place to stop while driving from San Anselmo to the Coast. Casual, but white table cloth, tables outside as well so enjoy the delicious wraps for lunch for a full blown wonderful Indian meal.
