Beyond amazing bakery!
I was blown away by the beauty of the cookies&pastries. I admit the fragrance of freshly baked Persian style danish pastries was not forgettable.
And all of this experience was not comparable to our daughters’ BD cake that Sweet Lilly created- magnificent &elegant.
And about the taste: the 3 pound danish pastries were gone before dinner! The cake was moist, sufficiently sweet and sophisticatedly layered in REAL whipping cream- we call it Khameh in Farsi- just try it.

This place in right behind the hotel I stayed at and OMG.. Great deserts... A little piece of heaven.. Ask for an assortment they will put it together for you. $10 and you are set.

It is my third visit in three weeks!
It is a great atmosphere with delicious sweets. It is refreshing to have cookies and pastries that are not overfilled by sugar!
A must visit place
Try Reshte-Khoshkar(pic)
Try the tea on Sundays (authentic Lahijan tea)

This bakery is to die for and what is more it offers ever changing samples to seduce you. The flaky pastries are in the finest French tradition and the chocolate used is better than the best that Belgium can offer..And the coffee is great.

You have to like a place where the owner is so sweet, and goes out of her way to be pleasant. We stopped last Thursday, at around 12:30 PM, after reading so many positive reviews, which by the way, is how we select where to shop. No time for trials and errors at this stage of our lives. Not to say that even places with 5 Stars, can not be a disappointment once in a while.
The place was vacant, zero traffic, and that made me instantly a little weary. What!? Praises galore (160+), and not one bakery customer?
We, two lovely ladies, and not so lovely me, entered, and spent a little past $30 (never go overboard the first time, I have learned the distasteful way), even though I must admit $30+ is not chicken feed. Tried a few items, liked the fact that some of their goodies are sold by the pound, it seemed kind of fair, slightly overpriced perhaps?, but hey! we are talking Orange County, near Leisure World, where you really have to have moola if one wants to live there. Prices in CA are silly! If you do not drive Lexus, Mercedes, watch out! Getting back to the subject matter, we waited until our safe return home to try our new finds. Yes, they have the touch, something about Persians having a little extra touch? One worthy point to mention is that their creations were not overly sweet, like Chinese food now a days?
Yes, it was empty, but what we tasted was very agreeable and fresh. Might have to stop by someday for an encore. 4.5 Stars.
