This new restaurant run by delightful lady, SITA was very welcoming. Great position opposite Kirra beach. Very reasonable pricing, quick and efficient service. Pleasant setup. Ordered ... Duck curry green, prawn curry, coconut rice, mixed entree dish and Pad Thai All totally delicious /thoroughly enjoyable...Definitely recommend this restaurant and will go back again for a third visit.More
Laguna Thai By The Sea is a small restaurant in south Laguna. The food is great and servers are very kind. We do the take out rather than eat in and the Yom Tom soup is great. My mom like the Pad Thai. The portions...are GENEROUS and super for left overs.More
We love Laguna Thai by the Sea. It’s a small spot but great food and nice wine selection. The lemon grass soup is fantastic. We take out often. Check it out! It’s in south Laguna..less traffic than the village!
When I took my brother there, he said it's the best Thai he has had stateside. He worked in Bangkok.
Open from 5-9 PM and located down the drag in Laguna. Seats 20 so get there early. Portions are generous and recommend sharing family style. Service is friendly and professional. First time visit and will go back again. Great place to talk and dine. Interesting...variety of spirits; saki, wine, and beer. We shared soup, steak dish, seafood noodles, and a chicken dish. All were scrumptious!More
restaurant is very simple, small tables, no view or terrace, but the food they serve is nice. They have a winelist that promises a good choice but what they really have is limited
Not so hidden when you know where to find it! Just a little bit further south than the main Laguna strip. Was really impressed with the quality of the food here. We had a Tom Yum soup to share and a green curry with shrimp...and a tofu pad Thai as mains. All were excellent quality, especially the green curry. Lots of nice green veg in there and not over cooked. Beautiful flavours. Gluten free options were available and catered for - just ask (not marked on the menu). Food took a little while to come but tris was no problem for us. In fact, I felt assured the food was being prepared fresh. Portion sizes were also good too. Highly recommended. One of the best Thai food experiences I've had outside of Thailand.More
Wait…..wait……wait……wait……food glorious food! Yes, it did take a loooong time for our main dishes to come out from the kitchen. How long you ask? Well, we live about 5 minutes from the restaurant and after about 15 minutes from the time we finished our wonderful...Tom Kha soup my wife went home to take care of the doggie and when she returned to the restaurant we were just getting our entree. Our server (who could not have been nicer) explained that there is only one chef (the owner) and he prepares each dish as it is ordered (cutting vegetables, the chicken and so on.…) and the place was full when we were seated (we got the last table). The soup was wonderful with the broth having a very slight sweetness, shrimp was plump and the vegetables were crisp and full of flavor. We shared an order of Kang Musaman, chicken breast with onion and potato over red curry with rice. The spice of the dish was spot on and each item stood out with freshness. This was our first time at Laguna Thai but even with the long wait it will not be our last. The place is small, and we were able to sit outside in a small patio area, very nice on a nice evening. Parking on PCH is dicey at best and they have a small lot next to the restaurant (on the North side). Enter at the 3rd ave sign and drive down the ramp. SO go to this little place and bring a book or kindle to read or have a nice conversation while waiting for some of the best Thai food you will get in the Laguna, Dana Point area.More
This small little restaurant is a local gem . The service is great and the crew warm and friendly. There is a nice large selection of wine and. Beer to complement your selection of freshly prepared delicious appetizers or entrée. Sometime I just go for...a great big bowl of soup which is heavenly. They kindly accommodate any switching in food that you might require, like brown rice or noodles instead of rice or no tofu or more tofu , Well you get the vegetables are always fresh and still crispy and really delicately seasoned with very lovely light sauces. You can't go wrong.More
Been going to this lil' gem since they opened years ago. The wait is worth the taste bud sensations!!! Above the rest in Laguna Beach, or even the OC, when it comes to Thai food. Almost any dish can be prepared with TOFU for us...vegetarians(flex-itarins...) out there!!! Crying Tiger my fav when I still ate beef, but now it's the Rama Tofu with fresh spinach and peanut sauce-the fluffy rice is delish too! You will NOT be disappointed.More
Great food. Real small venue. Worth the wait. Right on PCH at the South Laguna Signal, tucked in the corner of an old liquor store, is this special 6-8 table hideaway. Ladies are nice and helpful who serve the great Thai dishes. Can be romantic...or fun right off the beach.More
The pad see eww and coconut soup with chicken were amazing and totally good and hot! This is a must to try if you love Thai food! No egg roll comes with it but still amazing!
Great Thai food in South Laguna. The place is not fancy yet the food is great and always consistent. it's a family owned business
The Thai food is the best traditional food for miles. The servers wear a shirt that says "if you're in a hurry, we're not for you." It's a family owned place and everything is made to order and quality of this unique style takes time....We're locals, live across the street and we pick our days to go there, depending on the crowd at the door. They offer saki, beer and wine while you wait, but if you are really hungry, call it in and pick it up. Favs are Drunken noodles, chicken with green curry, pad Thai, spicy seafood salad, but we've never had a bad dish there.More
