Best views are from the inside. Very good omelettes and chilaquiles. Beautiful gardens, friendly helpful people. Right by a great path on the cliff's edge with wonderful views.

We had a party of 8. Even though we booked a reservation in advance we were told no tables available, and we would have to wait over half an hour. They eventually took us to a round table where someone was already sitting, and sat...us with this stranger. He was a chatty fellow and just sort of invited himself into our conversation. How weird is that? The food was ok, but was a very long wait. (The solo stranger at our table ordered after us and was served 15 minutes before us). Can’t comment on presentation as by the time the food came it was completely dark out and couldn’t really see it. Many dishes were just lukewarm temp. Taste was ok. Price was excessive. Who pays $42 for enchiladas? On the plus side, the views from the patio are fantastic. It would probably be a good place to sit outside for a couple of drinks, the go eat elsewhere.More

We were unimpressed by our dinner at Las Brisas. Chips were stale and inedible. The guacamole was bland. I had the butternut squash tamales which were okay, but not worth $34 for two tamales with no rice or beans. My husband had the branzino which...he said was just okay. Of course, the view is great, and the service was good, but definitely not worth the price.More

We had a 7:30 booking and arrived at 7:20, our table wasn’t ready so were pointed to the bar. We waited 40 minutes then had to ask about our table. We were asked to pay our bar bill which, amongst other drinks, they charged us...for a full pitch of sangria instead of one glass. We then sat at our table for another half an hour before our food order was taken. Food was good, but had nothing to eat until 1 ½ hours after arriving. No friendliness, no one gave us the time of day. Very disappointed.More

We are so bummed because I always wanted to try this place. Beautiful view of the ocean, the many cars in Valet waiting, the sheer size of it makes you believe something special is coming your way. I saw no sense of urgency, dirty plates...left on our table for several minutes when we wanted the check to leave. Even when we finally got our server over to ask for the check she did several other things for several more minutes while she had our card. Absolutely maddening! I had the lamb chops which were large, very tough to cut and chew -even though they were pink in the middle. It was substandard meat, and carefully camouflaged by a sauce that simply wasn’t necessary or good. My husband had the tamales, he said they were ok. Had the chips and guacamole, also a very rough chipotle sauce that was completely off the mark. Two margaritas, one Cadillac that was just bad, and the spicy one that had no spice and little flavor. If you are a Mexican restaurant and you can’t do chips and salsa or margaritas….just move along. How on earth is this place surviving? Maybe the view made them lazy. $165 later the whole dinner has me plain frustrated. I really looked forward to this unfortunate and substandard food, with more unfortunate service. Management? I never saw anyone appearing to be a manager checking on guests. Also, while staying at the hotel next door, I attempted at lunch to order food (same day) and have it delivered. They literally have a website that allows you to order your complete meal, then when you go to pay the card appears to be declined. Several times! After a full 45 mins with that website and my credit card company telling me my card was fine I simply called them. The gentleman that answered apologized and said those items were only dinner items, they only served brunch and those items can’t be boxed. Ok, so website 101….don’t have unavailable items available to order. Make it clear on the site that nothing can be ordered and delivered - why waste peoples time? An absolute failure all the way around.More

Considering this place is an upscale restaurant, we were treated like low class citizens when my girlfriend and I attempted to have lunch here at Las Brisas. We decided to sit at the bar and order because its more interactive with people and we love...to hold conversations. When we first walked in there was an old couple my friend and I started talking to and then there was a young Hispanic lady named Claudia(I think) that was directly hateful with her words to us. So I went to the front and asked the hostess if we could sit outside instead because of the animosity of this person. The heat outside was so bad we decided to sit on the other side of the bar instead. As we continued to receive dirty looks from this lady (Claudia), we decided to tell one of the bartenders (tall brown haired guy with goatee). He said not to pay attention to her she is a friend and she is just like that. WOW, as a paying customer why in the world would we have to put up with a woman that obviously is envious and has jealousy issues! We decided to stay and ignore her and tried to have a good time, ordered one drink and dinner. As we waited for our dinner my friend went to the restroom, and a shorter bartender with darker hair and blue eye was stacking glasses as I tried to strike up a conversation with him, he ask me how much we had to drink, I said not much one drink, and he said he was cutting us off. I was SHOCKED! I couldn't believe it! My friend couldn't either. I think we were targeted because this lady friend didn't like us so the service treated us badly and cut us off. I wonder if the owners know this is happening. Needless to say, we didn't get to eat anything because I cancelled our lunch because we were so upset!!! This cannot happen! I am boycotting LASBRISSA and I will make sure this is on ALL SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS to avoid this restaurant because of their favoritism and BIASED SERVICE!!!!!More

How many ways can one place fail? We took family here for Sunday brunch and were sorely disappointed. Las Brisas should be ASHAMED to charge top dollar when it is clear they aren't even trying. Folding tables with metal bars on two sides so half...the table can't even get their knees under the table at all. Really guys? Battered chairs with dirty & torn cushions. Spilled food under the table that we stepped in. For what you are charging for brunch I would at least expect the table to be set for us with plates and cutlery but no....our server just dropped it all in a pile in the center of the table. The "four course" brunch was a joke. A plate of a few slices of sugary cake was the "bread". A tiny plate of melon and a handful of berries for every two diners? My chilequiles were a sodden lump of mushy tortillas, lukewarm and tasteless. Lackluster commercial flan or a few micro-scoops of sorbet were the options for dessert. What did you spend on providing this "feast" for your guests?.....$2.50? La Brisas has gone as cheap as they possibly can on the entire meal from beginning to end. They do keep the champagne glasses topped off.....which still couldn't distract us from an extremely disappointing "brunch". We won't be back.More

Came for an early dinner on a beautiful but crisp day. We sat outside, and the views were OUTSTANDING! Heat lamps work very well and we were never cold. The view really made our experience, 5 star. Service was very good, they didn't rush us...and were attentive overall. very friendly and accommodating. Margarita was excellent, food was good not great. I had the steak and lobster enchiladas - extremely pricey and expected more. Overall though, our experience was lovely and I would come back.More

First time visiting location. Great ambience both inside and outside. If you get a chance to, walk inside. The location has beautiful views through the floor to ceiling windows. Excellent server! Very attentive and good conversation. He answered all questions about the menu knowledgeably. Had...chips and guacamole. Chips and guacamole were great but salsa was weak sauce. Also had SHRIMP TAMPIQUEÑOS. It was delicious and great portion size. But shrimp tails should been deshelled or the shrimps should have stayed in the shells completely. Overall, food was delicious but overpriced. Views were great.More

The food was delicious! However, upon arriving and being seated, no one came to check in on our table to bring us water or help us navigate the menu. We waited for over ten minutes and eventually had to get up ourselves to ask for...water and our waiter. Once our waiter came, we were able to order drinks and our meal. After informing the waiter of a dairy allergy, they proceeded to allow my daughter to order a shrimp dish with cream (which was not indicated on the menu :/). Despite refusing to remove the shrimp from the tab, they did quickly bring out some scallops which were delicious. If your desire for food surpasses your desire of being ignored, come here!More

I used to frequent Las Brisas for breakfast on the weekends in the early 90s. We would sit out on the patio overlooking the cliffs. It was usually somewhat of a wait for a table. But, you could order breakfast off the menu and it...was always excellent! We decided to go there for Saturday breakfast for my grandson‘s birthday without knowing it was now brunch only. How sorely disappointed I was that now I was stuck having to pay a high fixed price for breakfast and unable to just order à la cart from a menu. I think the restaurant was much better back in its heyday in the early 90s! that being said, the food was very good. It’s just not the same place that used to be. I understand brunch only on Sundays, but now on Saturdays?More

Sunday Brunch Experience. In reservation made online, made a request for a table with a view. Request made two months in advance. Arrived at appointed time, sorry no parking available. Started to unload baby and stroller etc and son was going to park elsewhere....."you're blocking...the entrance.....okay come in we still have some ospots available. " Reservation for 6 and a tiny newborn. "Is everyone in your party here.....?" "5 of us are here, one is parking his car...." You will have to wait until he gets here. " "Why?" "We have a preset menu on Sunday and you all have to be here before you are seated." ( How does that make a difference?) "Okay". Lady leaves the front desk and is replaced by a man. "Hi folks, do you have a reservation. Do you have a reservation?" Yes "Okay follow me" "But we have to wait for one more in our party we were told." "Why?" "I don't know, that is what your colleague told us." "Whatever, just follow me, no problem". AMATEUR HOUR. Food choices came out......like a low class preplated.....convention meal. Food was not special and cold........it was meant to be hot. Service was lazy and very matter of fact..........I would call it "Move them in and move them out." 6 of us, coffees and juices and 1 beer, $440. I have had better service and better food at Denny's........and yes... a better view . ON SUNDAY, it's a factory. I do hope that they don"t apologise to me and tell me how busy they were.........they knew that before the day started as it was reservation only......and if they couldn't handle it ..they shouldn't take it. I was in the 4 and 5star hotel business for my entire career 40 years, on three different continents, .......I know a poorly run....absentee managed establishment when I see one.......this was one of them. I never saw a manager. MY adult son asked a bus person to take away our appetizer plates when they delivered the main course..........he ignored the request . There was nothing redeeming about this experience. Stay clear....on a Sunday....for sure. The place appears to be run by the employees as they see fit and as suits them. SIMPLY AWFUL.More

Great location. Ambiance excellent. In fact, service was very professional, although not present on several occasions. Food? Stupid expensive. My steak and lobster enchiladas ($48) were served barely warm. The red sauce tastes like an inexpensive grocery store variety. My rice and beans? Cold. The...flavor of the lobster enchilada was good. The rest? Not so much. My wife's Shrimp entree ($42) included five shrimp and was very good. Would have been better if served hot. As my own, it was barely warm. $150 lunch while on vaca happens. I would just expect a higher level of quality.More
