Chef Santana vision and inspiration coupled with great service and atmosphere bring an balanced and truly great experience to the visit, love his dry aged prime steaks, they are well aged and absolutely delicious in making your palate happy, Santana plates are earthy and truly to the point, choosing fresh ingredients are a must. Chef Santana wake up early Saturday morning to visit the seafood market that opens a 5:00am. His food is to the point and teases the most delicate palate, going there is a great experience that each foodies must try.
Say hello to the Chef when his there, he loves to talk about his food.

We visit Laguna from time to time and are now thrilled to find a fabulous restaurant.
We did small plates on Tuesday - all portions very generous for sharing and wonderfully prepared. Service excellent as well. Atmosphere casual and comfortable with open kitchen. Highly recommended! We felt it was very fairly priced especially considering how great the food is. Kudos to Chef Amar. Parked right next door in bank lot (allowed after bank hours).

Sit at the food bar for the best experience to watch the art unfold in front of your eyes. Everything here was exceptional. The brussel sprouts are the best I have ever had. The ravioli with egg was so unique and the flavor bursts inside your mouth. I always have to order octopus as it's one of my favorites. The ambiance and service was very good as well. Next time I visit Laguna Beach I will come hungry so I can try am entree. I hear the fish is to die for. What a lovely experience. Can't wait to come back!

The restaurant is beautiful! But it stops there. I have tried this place three times now because it is so beautiful and charming inside. But the service is slow and not attentive. The wait staff is in no hurry to serve you, find out how you are doing or check on if there are any problems. (We asked for bread for our cheese platter and it didn't arrive until after we were done eating; the pecans were soggy and there were two of the same cheeses on the same platter.) We were in a hurry to attend the theater and didn't have time to order dinner. We arrived two hours before my theatre time...and I didn't get my cocktail for over 20 minutes; I had to ask if we could order something. And for the prices, this is unacceptable. The menu is interesting, but not one you crave to come back for. And everything is pricey. This is a one hit wonder. You can say you've been there, done that, but nothing will keep you coming back. I wanted too like this place, but they just made it too difficult with bad service, limited, too-artsy food, and expensive prices.

Sad to have not tried food here as read about chef owner from Queens NYC and excited to test the menu. Horrible entry and seating system with over a dozen folks ina mosh pit type entry with no organization or recognition or arrival time or reservation. One look at the menu and the big prices against the lack of quality service that out all patrons on edge at entry led to the exit door. Walked down the street toward the beach and had a lovely meal at e neighboring restaurant with ocean view and great service that were both lacking here.

The ravioli app was so-so, but the octopus was very fishy. The manager came by and asked what was wrong, and you could tell he was frustrated. When we told him, he said "I don't know about that...but I guess I take it back". Also the server asked if we wanted a little bit of grilled bread with the ravioli, but did not disclose that they charge for it and it was not on the menu.
I simply wanted a nice birthday dinner, but was treated like garbage... and fed garbage.

Best fried chicken I have ever had. My kids who are extremely picky eaters loved the fried chicken. I am so impressed by this restaurant. They really know what to serve during this COVID-19 pandemic. It is unfortunate to not be able to sit and dine inside but the food is still amazing. The staff is always hospitable. Loved the mashed potatoes, cole slaw, cookies, and fries. A great place to order take out.

We had to cancel our reservation because our party got sick. We replied to their confirmation text to let them know out of consideration to their staff and guests we weren’t coming in. The next morning we were charged a $300 Cancelation fee. I called the manager Vince who hung up on me. Told me their policy allowed them to charge for the missed Cancelation and he said if we didn’t want to pay we should have come in. Sick. I have never been talked to by a hospitality manager in my life. To be clear this is one of our favorite restaurants and some of the best food in Orange County. But we will never spend a penny in there.

Wow. Flavors that are off the charts. Our server was fantastic and the ambiance is casual chic. Oysters and hamachi apps were inventive and delicious. Pork chop and Bronzino mains were fantastic as well. Don’t forget to order the Brussels 😋. This is a must eat at restaurant!

Food was delightful - so tasty - service 10 stars - drinks 10 stars
We enjoyed the sashimi followed by ink squid pasta and a Chilean sea bass miso preparation that was to die for.

Don't know where to begin - everything was sooo good and tasty and creative.
We started with JAPANESE HAMACHI SASHIMI which was so fresh and delightful - make sure you get plenty of the avocado sorbet with every bite. Then we tried the amazing and delicate EGG YOLK RAVIOLO - truly one of a kind and a can't miss on the menu. For a main I had the skirt steak which was cooked to perfection and a bite of the Chocolate pasta which had just made its Fall debuted on the menu. We finished the meal with a newly introduced pumpkin spice espresso martini and CHOCOLATE PRALINE CRUNCH - which is another don't miss item.
Make sure not to sleep on their new fall cocktails either.
The service was over the top and the dining room was energetic.

A group of us booked and visited to celebrate a friend's birthday. This place markets itself as a fine dining experience and the prices reflect that.
The good:
- place was buzzing
- food was generally excellent
The bad:
- service for a fine dining restaurant left a little to be deserved. Some drinks orders were either forgotten or extremely slow arriving.
The ugly:
- fortunately nothing "ugly" to report as such.
There are some the fantastic restaurants in the area so a little more polish is perhaps needed. However, judging by the packed restaurant this was not impacting on its popularity but this was 4th July weekend so you would expect most places to be busy. Given the choice between here and some other fine dining restaurants locally, this place is currently losing out. Which is a shame.

If you get a long hair stuck under your branzino,don’t expect any apology or way to compensate for the inconvenience. By the time you get your fish your friends will be done with their dinner. Again no apology or way to compensate for the inconvenience. Very disappointing.

Kalina, I probably misspelled her name, was a great host/bartender and the food was so delicious! I decided to dine in last minute on a Saturday night, and everyone at the restaurant was super nice!
