We've been coming to Broadway for years now (pretty much since we saw Chef Amar Santana on Bravo TV's Top Chef show) and every single experience has been wonderful. The restaurant, although small, is warm, sophisticated, and welcoming. The food is surely the star of...the show (our favorites are the crudo, foie gras, chicken livers, octopus, raviolo, branzino, and steak), but every single thing we have ever ordered has been nothing short of delicious, creative, and beautiful. I've been to Broadway with vegetarians, meat-lovers, and even some snobby diners. There is something for everyone to love here! The staff is also top-notch...they know their stuff and will happily guide you. The cocktails are also stellar--there are a few I literally have dreamt about in my sleep! There are other fine-dining restaurants with better views in Laguna, but if you're looking to have the best dinner in Laguna Beach, Broadway is the place!More

Best fried chicken I have ever had. My kids who are extremely picky eaters loved the fried chicken. I am so impressed by this restaurant. They really know what to serve during this COVID-19 pandemic. It is unfortunate to not be able to sit and...dine inside but the food is still amazing. The staff is always hospitable. Loved the mashed potatoes, cole slaw, cookies, and fries. A great place to order take out.More

Guilty of reviewing Broadway again! But I do because it’s just that good! Again, another fresh menu with new seasonal dishes. I cannot emphasize enough, again.....that this is Laguna’s prime boutique restaurant!

Sit at the food bar for the best experience to watch the art unfold in front of your eyes. Everything here was exceptional. The brussel sprouts are the best I have ever had. The ravioli with egg was so unique and the flavor bursts inside...your mouth. I always have to order octopus as it's one of my favorites. The ambiance and service was very good as well. Next time I visit Laguna Beach I will come hungry so I can try am entree. I hear the fish is to die for. What a lovely experience. Can't wait to come back!More

Chef Santana vision and inspiration coupled with great service and atmosphere bring an balanced and truly great experience to the visit, love his dry aged prime steaks, they are well aged and absolutely delicious in making your palate happy, Santana plates are earthy and truly...to the point, choosing fresh ingredients are a must. Chef Santana wake up early Saturday morning to visit the seafood market that opens a 5:00am. His food is to the point and teases the most delicate palate, going there is a great experience that each foodies must try. Say hello to the Chef when his there, he loves to talk about his food.More

The food was ok but the service was terrible! The bartender was standing up on the bar and dusted the shelves inches away from the food under the warming lamp. Not what I want when dining at an upscale restaurant and are paying a lot...of money for it.More

Amar is killing it! Still on top with cutting edge cuisine. You must try his new restaurant The Hall Global Eatery in Costa Mesa! It’s phenomenal with a great Mediterranean menu!

The restaurant is beautiful! But it stops there. I have tried this place three times now because it is so beautiful and charming inside. But the service is slow and not attentive. The wait staff is in no hurry to serve you, find out how...you are doing or check on if there are any problems. (We asked for bread for our cheese platter and it didn't arrive until after we were done eating; the pecans were soggy and there were two of the same cheeses on the same platter.) We were in a hurry to attend the theater and didn't have time to order dinner. We arrived two hours before my theatre time...and I didn't get my cocktail for over 20 minutes; I had to ask if we could order something. And for the prices, this is unacceptable. The menu is interesting, but not one you crave to come back for. And everything is pricey. This is a one hit wonder. You can say you've been there, done that, but nothing will keep you coming back. I wanted too like this place, but they just made it too difficult with bad service, limited, too-artsy food, and expensive prices.More

We recently had our office Christmas party at this restaurant. I can’t say enough about this restaurant. The New York styled theme makes it stand out in among restaurants in the area. However the dishes is what really sets this place apart. I the branzino...dish, perfectly made fish. Crisp on one side and tender all the way through with the right flavor. I forgot to mention the kale salad, so tender and delicious. I finished off with the chocolate desert with a scoop of ice cream. I don’t remember the name of this desert but every bite was perfection. This place has a great bar. Overall if you need somewhere for a romantic date or a place to grab a bite some friends I recommend broadway.More

Broadway has reliable food and very good service. It's a bit loud, the chairs at the bar, a bit uncomfortable and the drinks are small. But the ravioli and seafood dishes are nicely prepared.
