We have a charming indoor dining area and a beautiful outdoor patio perfect for people watching on PCH, we are known for Mediterranean flavors. Open for lunch and dinner every day as well as for breakfast on Sundays. GG's Bistro diners to enjoy salads, sandwiches, kebabs and entrees representative of the owners Mediterranean roots. There was a problem with their online reservation system, but it was easy to get a table at 5:30 on a week night. The service started great but slowed when other tables started to arrive. Our food and drinks were well prepared, especially liked the hummus trio. The shaded patio is a lovely spot to dine.

What a great find! We had a great outdoor table. It was a bit chilly outside, but the staff brought an outdoor heater, which made it very comfortable. We had a caprese salad for a starter, and kabob entrees (both chicken and filet mignon). This was one of the best meals we’ve had in the several weeks we’ve been traveling!

I got the wedge salad. I liked that it was an updated version of this classic. It had grapes, dates and pumpkin seeds in addition to the usual goodness. My friend had the goat cheese salad and also enjoyed it. Our waitress was very good. The only downside is the noise from the street and no view of the ocean.

Went there to try their gyro/doner, with some hesitation. There are a lot of imitations out there. This was the real thing. We tried Iskender and regular doner and mediterranean salad. They were all awesome. We topped the great food with pistachio baklava and Turkish coffee. It was an overall remarkable dinner. Will definitely go there next time we are in town. I would highly recommend to anyone who would like the Turkish/middle eastern cousine.

We came here once during the beginning of the pandemic because the seats were so spaced apart. We were seated right away. It was nice that the seats are far apart.
I had the Arugula salad with goat cheese it was amazing. The food is a decent price for Laguna. Overall we have come back here before because of the ambiance. It's def a recommend go to place.

We had lunch here on the way to San Diego. We sat on the outside patio. Very cozy and beautifully decorated. The owner is Swiss just like my father and her husband is from Istanbul where I have just been traveling with friends. We had the pita and bruchetta and borek. All very tasty and certainly enough according to European standards. Recommended. Also a quiet place for lunch.

Located on Pacific Coast Highway between Laguna Avenue and Legion Street, GG’s Bistro specializes in Turkish-Mediterranean and Italian cuisine served both indoors and on an outdoor heated patio. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They offer a kids’ menu and (this being located in health-conscious Laguna Beach) a gluten-free menu.
Parking is always a challenge in Laguna Beach, so if you can’t find street parking nearby try the parking structure on Glenneyre Street. Our visit came during the COVID-19 pandemic, so the dining room was closed. It was a surprisingly mild August day near the beach, so we happily accepted a table in their outdoor dining patio.
We started with a bruschetta appetizer, which we devoured immediately. My wife ordered chicken kebabs (with rice pilaf, roasted vegetables, pita bread and yogurt dressing), my son selected their Iskender Kebab (thinly sliced gyro meat served on cubed pita bread topped with yogurt and crushed tomato sauce), while I opted for a Caesar salad topped with gyro meat. All our entrees were prepared with care and artfully presented. We enjoyed our dinner immensely.
First-time visitors to the area should NOTE that Laguna Beach is an expensive, upscale tourist town, and the prices at GG’s Bistro certainly reflect that; you will not find any bargains on their menu. On the other hand, the prices are not out of line with neighboring eateries. Plus, the service we received was excellent, the portions were generous and the outdoor setting near the ocean was very pleasant. So, if you understand it will be expensive going in, you will experience fall less “sticker shock.” We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at GG’s Bistro and will no doubt return in the future.

Loved GG's! Our server, Manu, who also served us a year ago, continues to be a very kind and informative server. The food is fabulous! I recommend sitting in the outside area along the sidewalk. What impressed me is that they have a GLUTEN FREE menu!!! As a starter we had the Hummus Trio, Olive, cilantro-jalapeno, plain humus, gluten-free bread & celery! I had several :) of the Raspberry Kiss cocktails YUMMY! I then had the CHARBROILED CALAMARI STEAK, Grilled squid tube served on a bed of mashed potatoes, arugula, topped with olive oil, herbs, garlic sauce & tartar sauce, to die for!!!! My husband had a salad with gyro meat.

This was our “go-to” place while staying in Laguna Beach. It has an extensive GF menu and they clearly understand how to deal with coeliac disease. Also a good kids menu. We found the pastas and salads very tasty, and the service always friendly. They have a great covered outdoor patio to enjoy the fresh air. If you want a good-quality but family-friendly/casual place with reliable GF selections, we definitely recommend GG’s!

In town and we were looking for a place to have dinner. It was a very busy night for most restaurants. We passed by this placed and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. WOW! The food was amazing. The service was outstanding. Seating right above PCH. Great place for dinner.

Came across this gem while walking around Laguna and it is now a new favorite! The customer service was excellent! The waitresses were friendly, attentive and happy to answer our questions about the menu. The food was delicious and fresh, everything from the bread with olive oil to their salads and pasta. Highly recommend!

We were very anxious about the glutenfree choices for our daughter with celias disease when we planned our 3 week road-trip in US, but we have been positievly surprised and found restaurants with glutenfree choices all over the place.
And pasta is one of her favorites:-)

After reviewing menus on line looking specifically for Gluten free options, we chose GG's Bistro. The best entree turned out to be the chicken pasta dish prepared gluten free. My Famous Iskender Kebab was over-sauced which hid the flavor of the gyro meat. That was a bit disappointing.

We also have a platter without a tomato sauce. The gyro meat comes with rice , pita bread & yogurt sauce on the side. No sauce on the meat. Iskender Kebab is a different preparation of the same gyro. Hope we can make it a better experience for your next visit.

Just went in to have their berry sangria drink and ended up eating a Doner (Gyro) Pita, calamari Fritti, lobster ravioli, and not to miss the desert, a Molten chocolate Soufflé. Everyone was happy with their choices. The waitress was very nice and friendly. Actually everyone working there, was very nice and friendly. There is a nice view and a pleasant location. Give it a try if you enjoy Mediterranean dishes.
