Go early to minimize or eliminate waiting. It's a local favorite. I've yet to have a bad meal. Waitresses are friendly and attentive and your order will come quickly. It's all good. Just don't expect to be seated quickly on a Saturday or Sunday morning after 9.

Millies is a Lafayette tradition right up there with Johnny's Donuts and El Charro. Could some ridiculous hipster transplant from San Francisco complain because there isn't quinoa in the pancakes and essence of arugula in the omelettes? No doubt. But if you just want good ol' american breakfast cooked the same way for many decades, go to Millies. Enjoy their... More

This is a pleasant little spot, very homey. Conveniently situated near the rest of my day's errands. Frankly, it's been a while since I was there so I can't give a recent food review but I'm sure it was fine or we wouldn't go back.

Old fashion, no nonsense breakfast menu. Good coffee, dishes are large and filling. Service was excellent for our party of six. Don't miss the coffee cake.

Ranchos rancheros or just eggs, bacon and hash brown are always great. At this place you get what you expect. Their dishes never changes - they are, fortunately, consistent in amount and the way they are prepared and cooked. I love this restaurant for a week-end brunch. The hard working staff is great.

Usually good food, nice atmosphere, friendly waitresses. Crowded on weekends, but not during the week. My fav is the Huevos Rancheros. Their homemade sausage is TDF. Daily specials on the blackboard. Very kid friendly...

My Dad lives near Lafayette and when I visit, every pick up from the BART coming in from SFO requires a trip to Millie's for breakfast (even if it is lunchtime). Today meal was predictable and perfect. Great service, terrific food. Eggs over easy was accompanied by three large sausage patties and perfectly crunchy brown hash browns. Fresh fruit and... More
