We love coming to the Yankee Pier. The selections are always fresh and we have enjoyed all of the items we have ordered. The lemonade is great - as are any of the blended lemonades. The steamed clams are wonderful - the broth well worth slurping with bread. The shrimp cobb salad is consistently excellent. Lots of fresh shrimp -... More

If you can't find a fish dish you like on this menu you are unusual to say the least. The servers are all very welcoming and friendly without hovering. Each fish or seafood is served several way. Easy to get too and the best at reasonable prices.

I must admit that Yankee Pier is not an inexpensive restaurant but can also assure you that the value is there because the food is unsurpassed, the wait staff is very professional, the ambience is superb, and the overall experience is always enjoyable. It is, without a doubt, my favorite seafood restaurant in the San Francisco Bay Area and their... More

Large menu with something for everyone. Full bar with good cocktails, large wine list and fun non-alcoholic drinks. Bread served with dinner. Nice casual dining room with plenty of outdoor seating. Good, crisp salads, lots of fish in different preparations. Fresh oysters - everything is really yummy - it's hard to choose. Sustainable seafood is responsible and great, but this... More

A nice local place on the main street of Lafayette. Good value for families with kids. Outstanding staff, very friendly with he kids. Typical seafood restaurant with a wide variety of items on the menu. Good Wine List, had the Byron Pinot Noir at $43. About $13 at safeway. The wedge salad was excellent. Good bread as well.

We came here on Mother's Day (yes, I made reservations a couple weeks ahead of time); it was a bit hectic for the staff but they served us well. Everything we had was very good; the clam chowder, the rock fish tacos, the salmon roll, and the special soup of the day. Of course, everything was fresh and tasty. We... More

FRESH top quality seafood... prepared simply so the seafood is the star of the plate. Great outside seating for those warm weekend mornings.

We mistakenly thought this would be a Tourist Trap. The Seafood quality, the Staff and the atmosphere will definitely have us returning to Yankee Pier and soon. The cocktails and wine were spot on. We saw plenty of folks ordering fish and chips which I am sure are great, but the Seafood was Fresh and not over dressed, so enjoy... More

I am originally from Lafayette, but moved to Savannah, Ga in 2010. Even while living on the east coast, this shrimp in this restaurant can't be beat. I will go to this restaurant 3 times a week if my finances allow. That being said, it's a bit pricey.. My Caesar salad with bay shrimp is about $19.00, but don't let... More

Arrived a bit earlier than our Open Table reservation but were seated right away. Wife delighted having the oysters (several selections from various sources). Her clam chowder was excellent, as was my special creamed pea soup. We both enjoyed the sole (two good-sized filet) which came with roast potatoes, a generous portion of spinach, and a lemon-caper sauce. As other... More
