A trip back in time

Everyone is really upbeat but the bartender is REALLY slow. I felt like I was in Vegas in the 1960s with a cheesy yet competent piano "show", the Fabulous Bill Baker. More kitchy that fabulous but he doesn't know it and that's what works. If you're in your 60s you'll feel young here.

The service was excellent as well as the food. The best part of the evening was the entertainment. The old songs from the 50's & 60's was definitely a stroll down memory lane. Great evening.

I had dinner there last night. Great food with a one man band. The fried Calamari was the best I ever had, the half duck was crisped to perfection. Also shared deviled eggs (ok) fried green beans (great) and charred chili peppers with cheese (great) Lots of menu choices and prices were reasonable with good portions. A clear favorite with... This place is FUN! Music every night starting at 6pm. Come earlier for a quieter feel but the Music & Food keep me coming back. This place has been around for over 35 years! Owner, Bob, Bobby, Robert, etc... works the room EVERY night, old school. Love him! Looks small from the outside but 3 different dining areas plus a... More

We were visiting friends in La Quinta, CA and they took us to this restaurant. The food is "comfort" style. I had Filet of Sole and my husband had Scallone and it was one of the best meals we've had in a long time. The owner makes his own bread and it is delicious. Over the years the restaurant has... I've eaten here many times over the years and it's always been enjoyable. They serve great meat dishes as well as seafood delights. Old time decor and ambiance, it just feels good when you walk in. Live entertainment on some weekends. Enjoy! ...

Good atmosphere, excellent food and friendly service. Good music in the Bar with a lively crowd. We go several times per year. The bread is outstanding.

Great place to dine, have a few drinks and sing along! You never know who is going to show up to sing! This place reminds me of the "Cheers Bar" - everyone knows your name! Everyone is always welcomed by the owner, the bartender and all the staff which makes you feel at home! Love this place!

This is a fun place to dine and to sing a long, with their musician Bill Baker. He was able to play the piano, guitar and sing. I had an excellent calamari steak in an lemon and caper sauce. This place seems to me like quintessential Palm Springs.

Meals are a bit over priced but good. Great music for the middle aged on friday and saturday nights starting in October through April 1! No room for dancing unless yoiu want to squeeze between tables!
