We had brunch here one day and enjoyed a great selection of food and creative salads. We sat outside which was pleasant although inside looked pretty as well.

The food was good, had one of their low cal plates. Turkey patty was good. The salad dressing had a little too much vinegar for me. Our server was friendly, did a good job. We will definitely go back.

The food, service, and atmosphere was excellent at Solano's which is located in Old Town La Quinta. When we arrived at our reservation time we were politely seated and quickly our waiter asked for our drink orders. We had margarita's made with Cointreau which were refreshing as we savored hot sour dough rolls. We started with the marinated artichoke as... More

The patio is enjoyable and the food is very nice. We had the Thai salmon and the tuna salad. The service was a bit slow but we had all the time in the world. A great lunch in the old town!

Enjoyed a great value happy hour in the bar - grilled artichoke, bruschetta and halibut tacos. All served piping hot and well seasoned. Best of all is that even when busy, you can hear your partner's conversation or just listen to some crooner classic music while enjoying a drink. We happened upon this restaurant after coming to La Quinta Old... More

Want a quaint cozy restaurant in the desert.....this is it! Situated on a unique street in La Quinta, Solano's made our day! The spicy salmon was excellent and the dishes our friends had were very fresh.

My husband and myself were in Old Town La Quinta and decided to try out Solano's for Happy Hour. The Restaurants looks like a Mexican Hacienda and great decor and ambiance. We went into the bar area "The Velvet Lounge" and ordered drinks and the HH bar menu. We had the Brie Broiche Burger for $7. and the Pappardelle Pesto... More

My wife and I met some old friends for lunch and dined on the patio. Extensive menu. Great ambience. Meal and the service were excellent. We visited for more than two hours and I never felt rushed.

We stopped early afternoon, well past the lunch crowd, on a hot day. Too late for lunch and too early for dinner. We shared the crab cakes (comes with two) and the bruschetta (comes with 4) and each had a beer. Mine was the Absolution that was on tap and my wife had the Becks. The food was excellent and... We've been here for two weeks and this is the best meal we've had today. The coconut shrimp salad, fish tacos and chopped salad are superb. It's a nice place for a relaxed meal with great service
