This has been my goto place for Mexican for years, back as far as when they were in old Town. You can't go wrong here.

This is one of our family and friends favorite Mexican restaurants, where you can sit down and have a great meal and just relax. One of the largest menu selections ever and everyone a great choice. They have a full bar and the staff have always been great. Plenty of seating in a very comfortable setting with a mariachi band... More

We met at this restaurant because it was centrally located. However it turned out to be a great choice. There was so much good food. Each of us had something delicious and different. The service was excellent although it was very busy. Excellent Mexican food.

This is a favorite of our out of town visitors, an Old Town original. Best Margaritas, food is authentic. You will love it!

We like all of Ms Powers' Casas. Pico is closest to home, so we go there a lot for lunch. The specials have jumped $2 up to $9.95, but they are always good... & we've tried them all. This time it was chile rellenos with rice, beans & small salad. Chips and salsa are very fresh and tasty. You really... More

Great food, giant Margaritas, nice family atmosphere. Original restaurant was in Old Town for decades. Moved to La Mesa when the Cal. State Park Dept changed the primary vendor, (big mistake) and they blew out many businesses to bring in their own. Luckily they kept the same quality when the restaurant moved. The only problem I have is that the... More

Love this place. The service is always fast - but we also go during non-peak hours - and the wait staff is always upbeat and on top of it. My husband just had the veggie enchiladas, - and they were so good I kept eating off his plate. My ensalada de carne asada with the lime dressing sauce was delicious... More

The atmosphere is great...nestled in the heart of old La Mesa.Perfect for evening strolls after your meal.Food is priced average..great service..more of an experience then an exception. Out side tables as well..open airy feeling.

I have been going to this restaurant from the Grand Opening , the food is good and at the right price . I like the Happy Hour in the Bar , good drinks and free appetizers , and in the evening they have live Mexican Music .

Stopped in for lunch and sat in the bar area. Bartender was great and so was his service. The food was good but nothing to really rave about.
