I love their "fresh catch" menu that has the best salmon anywhere. It is perfectly cooked. The only bad thing is that it's kind of expensive to eat there. I love the Triple Berry Sangria as well. Although they recently changed it a bit and the glass seems to have way less drink in it now and more fruit and... More

I've eaten at a lot of Red Lobster's over the years but I won't go back to this one. It might have been a new server but we couldn't get her attention when we wanted something, she brought cold coffee and the dessert tasted like it had been over microwaved. The food was ok but the poor service made it... More

My wife and I went to the Red Lobster in La Mesa yesterday and had a nice dinner meal. Our server Octavian Alecu was very nice, and did a good job as he answered all of our questions about the menu, and took care of all of our requests. We started with a Lobster and Langostino Pizza appetizer. The pizza... More

I live some 35 miles from la mesa,ca and have always waited for the" endless shrimp"promotion. Getting excited to chow down ,I knew what I was going to get. I didn't see a menu stating the all yo y can eat shrimp. I asked the waitress and she pointed it out on the menu. The tv ad said it was... More

This restaurant has amazing coconut shrimp! I also really enjoy the cheese biscuits. The seafood salad is also delicious.

I love fried shrimp so I ordered Walt's Shrimp along with a baked potato with the lobster drippings and loved them both. The food was great at reasonable prices and the service was great also. The next time I'm in the area I'll be back.

I ordered takeout, and was asked to hold. After five minutes of not getting service, I recalled and was asked to place the order. I ordered but the lady taking the order did not even know what was contained in each dish. After notifying her of what each dish contained, a family member picked up the order. The fish I... More

I enjoyed the shrimp races and my friend had the tilapia tacos. What a great value at $7.99 for lunch, it wasn't crowded and we got seated right away.

With so many different dining choices in the La Jolla and San Diego area Red Lobster wasn't our first choice but we were so glad we went. It's beautiful inside with heavy timbers in the rafters and high ceilings. Our server was one of the best I've ever had. She was excellent and went above and beyond to see if... More
