I was visiting family and we were hungry and decided to stop in to this restaurant. We all enjoyed our entrees including spaghetti and meat balls, pasta with spicy shrimp, sausage sandwich, eggplant Parmesan and the special with chicken and Gorgonzola and mushroom sauce. The bread was delicious. The chicken and rice soup had a flavorful broth. It was a... More

Little Roam is a small, authentic Italian restaurant with owners who make the place warm and friendly. Their sausage is made from scratch, and is a great side dish or pizza topping. Dinners come with soup or salad, while entrees include chicken, veal or fish with pasta or rice. All the usual suspects appear as well: Marinara, Alfredo, Primavera, Pesto... More

Food here used to really good quality but the last two times it tasted like they were cutting corners and it really shows. Have had better frozen pizza and lasagna tasted like ingredients were old.

The food is reasonable, portions small with limited menu. This a small family establishment tucked in a strip mall in La Mesa. The wait staff is one of the owners and lacks customer service skills. Not much to like about this place.

I've been in there three times, close proximity to home, and twice the 'Dragon Lady' has treated me like crap instead of a customer. 1st time they gave me the wrong antipasto (to go). No big deal, I'll just go back and get it replaced. I have the receipt. It shows the correct item. "Dragon Lady' starts verbally attacking me... More

I was also there the night of the blackout. As far as I could tell they were the only restaurant open for miles around. (And grocery stores and 7/11 type stores were also closed.) I was extremely happy to find a place I could get something for dinner that night. And what I got was the usual high quality food... More

My husband, myself & our four year old went here during the long black out all over CA. We just moved here in one of the neighboring apartments along Baltimore Drive a couple of months ago from FL. Our "Little Roma" experience that evening had too much drama & the female owner was rude! I'm not sure if the young... More

This restaurant is a hidden treasure in La Mesa. The owner-Chef, Joe, and his wife, Rosanna, who is often a waitress, offer an extensive menu. The pizza is fantastic! The meatball sandwiches are terrific. But there are a number of other outstanding dishes on the menu as well. The veal and chicken marsala immediately come to mind as does the... More
