Al pastor burrito was outstanding. Chops and guacamole made a good snack later. Well worth the 10 min drive. Parking was near impossible to find and you may have to wait a bit if there’s a line.

Well worth the wait. We tried a variety of tacos (grilled fish, shrimp, pastor, asado) and the corn on the cob and everything was very good. My favorite was the pastor. Just bring some wipes for the table before you start.

Definitely rated #1 for a reason. Took a chance on this little Taco shop. So glad we did. If you are in the San Diego area don’t pass on these tacos. Rated A by city.

Stopped for lunch yesterday with my wife after an appointment at UCSD Medical. Have been here before, and so happy to visit again! Carne Asada taco, Al Pastor taco, Fish taco....DONE! Tacos are flavorful and delicious. The asada taco was absolutely delicious, the pastor was...juicy, crispy, and the pineapple flavor was fantastic! My wife really enjoyed her fish taco. Salsa is served on the side, which is not super hot, but flavorful. The portions are perfect, and the tacos are just fantastic, DO NOT order without getting a corn on the cob! Outdoor bench seating is nice, and there is an indoor bench as well. Everything is made to order, so be patient for your order, they'll yell your name when it's ready!More

Great quality and good serving portions. Helpful service with quality ingredients. Gets busy so be aware and get there early and often.

There was a long line when we got there at 2:30 pm. After ordering it was another 20-30 minutes to receive our food. The food was delicious though. Try the various salsas because they are great as well. Only outdoor seating was available. There weren't...many tables, and the ones that were available were very dirty. If you visit, make sure you have plenty of time to wait.More

Any time we're in La Jolla we visit Taco Stand every day to eat tacos (or burritos). Great value, service and simply delicious! We try to hit the 'off' hours so the line is shorter, but it's worth any wait. Love The Taco Stand.

The tortillas are fresh. Orders are made to order. There’s always a long line to order - that alone gives you a clue on how good the food is. We ordered the Cali burrito, the grilled fish burrito and the grilled fish tacos. No one...was disappointed. We added chips and guacamole along with extra guacamole. Plus churros to finish our meal. The burritos are large and they don’t include rice or beans in them.More

We chose the Taco Stand because of the great reviews. What a complete disappointment. We are baffled as to why everyone raves about it. We had the Nopal tacos and they were served ICE COLD, no flavor. The chicken taco was better but nothing to...rave about.More
