We went for dinner in November, so the sun had long set and it was quiet brisk on the patio! Make sure you dress warm and bring a scarf and you should be fine. Service was great and food was delicious. If you can get...More

We had a fantastic roof top lunch on a Sunday. The view was amazing! Opens at 11am, make a reservation and get there 10 minutes early if you want a table on the ocean side. Small and fills up fast! We were able to watch...More

Has to be the best view in town, and Ian was such an excellent server. Made sure we had a nice dining experience, did not rush us, and treated us like royalty

Visiting from out of state and really enjoyed the view of the Pacific while eating great fish tacos. Staff was very friendly too.

Everything was under construction so it was difficult to assess but overall I thought the staff was not overly friendly. The top bar was closed at 4:30 pm and only the middle was available for happy hour. The bathroom was closed, which is understandable but...More

Great restaurant with 3 levels. Top for casual eating, middle is the bar and it’s restaurant and down stairs is fine dining. Favorite is the bar. Always lively and great food. Huge wine list. Known for the black bean soup!

Friends said I "had" to check this place out if I was in town, so I did. Sure the view is nice, the service is good, but frankly, I found the menu to be quite limited and now terribly inspiring. I did enjoy the evening's...More

Locals recommended it so we went. Great view, great food, pricey but worth it. We got a table overlooking the water - sweet!

The view is outstanding. We went twice in the span of 5 days! Food was great, and they did have a very good wine menu but not a great variety in terms of price point. Nice service. Definitely a must try

You will see a little of everything. It is California! I would highly recommend the rooftop dining. The view is amazing. There is a breeze, but they also have heaters they can put by your table.

We had to park on a side-street just down the road. It wasn't far and there was no charge.

George's at the Cove is a renowned three-level dining destination located in the heart of La Jolla overlooking the Pacific Ocean and northern coastline. We offer three distinct restaurant and bar concepts – one fine dining and two casual – with stunning ocean views and award-winning cuisine. Known for its splendid rooftop setting, the popular George’s Ocean Terrace – complete with a newly expanded and elevated bar – offers casual al fresco fare for lunch and dinner that is perfectly complemented by sweeping ocean views. Recently reinvented from floor to ceiling, the all-new George’s Level2 – located on the second level – is elevating the craft of cocktails with housemade ingredients and handcut ice. Featuring all the classics and innovative modern creations, like the signature Sea3, Level2 offers a variety of cocktails well-suited to any taste. On the lower level, George's California Modern is a contemporary fine dining restaurant and bar featuring seasonally-driven California cuisine.
