The setting of Harry's was definitely an American diner and that was very interesting for me as a tourist. The service was great and the food portions are pretty big. Don't expect this to be a place with healthy options as it is an American diner after all. We had corn beef hash and it came with 3 eggs. The... More

Such an incredible selection of fantastic and delicious dishes, served in a 60s-era diner that makes you feel like you're part of the original surfing crew. Staff was great, very "on it," orders were taken quickly and food got there fast! The entire family found food for them, and all meals were devoured! Fantastic spot for breakfast!

This is a very nice room with terrific ambience . And the service was good . However we expected more given the reputation . I had Canadian bacon and eggs with hash browns and toast . EXCEPT the Canadian bacon wasn't bacon . It was slices from a ham roll . The hash browns were very good . The eggs... More

What can I say but the food and the service is great! SO much to choose from the menu. Husband had pancakes, bacon and eggs and I had the Baja Club with fries Our waitress stopped by a few times to see if we needed anything else. There were quite a few people waiting to get in but it didn't... More

Went for breakfast, it was delicious! I had the veggie burrito, and my sister had the veggie omelette. Both were so huge we could barely finish them. The food was expensive but worth it I'd recommend splitting an entree to maximize your dollars!

Harry - one of them anyway - greets you at the door. I was on my own so I sat at the counter and had a delightful conversation with several of the regulars. The staff was friendly and efficient. I had the veggie omelet and it was absolutely enormous - I skipped lunch altogether after this breakfast, but it was... More

We were in La Jolla as part of a short trip to San Diego. Our first morning we did a little research for a top local breakfast spot and Harrys popped up. Its really a great local eatery that shouldn't be missed if in the area. To start the service was excellent! Coffee and OJ were served up quick! We... More

Harry's is an institution in La Jolla, mostly for breakfast food. Everything on the menu is excellent, but I especially love the huevos con rancheros. Their waffles are excellent and their fruit sides are fresh. Service is very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this place for breakfast.

This is a wonderful old breakfast and coffee shop. Excellent service since it is always busy. The food is spot on and prepared well.

I had a business breakfast at Harry's today. I posted on Facebook that it might be my best breakfast ever. Susan was extremely helpful, friendly and great service. The Corn Beef Hash - wow!!
