What hasn't changed is our passion for serving tasty, classic American & Southern California influenced food. We stopped for a rest on our way to San Diego and had lunch here. The food is ok, not so great. The crab cake sandwich was a bit greasy.

Charming place, friendly staff and awesome food! The Cinnamon Swirl Pancakes are a party in your mouth! Really appreciated the server suggesting two pancakes instead of three. As good as they were, I could not have finished three. And they are too delicious to waste!
Good place and is very popular, which is why I decided to go to the Cottage...unfortunately the omelette I ordered was cold, and based on how quickly it came out, and the rubbery nature of the omelette, this had been pre-cooked...not a great experience.
Wonderful little (and we mean little) cozy corner place in a former residential area of LaJolla not far from the First Presbyterian Church ... worth the wait! The food and the service were wonderful My LaJolla Eggs Benedict were the absolute best I've ever had!!!...More
