Love this place, I live locally and go all the time. The dishes are really well prepared, great omelettes, the salads are a good size and perfectly prepared, and fish tacos and chillaquillas are not to be missed. Add to that a staff that does a great job and it never fails to be an enjoyable meal.

We visited Cody's on the 22nd of August and had an amazing time there ! Well the view to La Jolla beach makes the experience great anyway , live music was gentle and really nice to listen to and Gabriel Chiado treated us in the best way possible and seriously made us feel like home . All food was great... More

Grandma was a "foodie" way before her time!! Farm to table- Etc -etc.. Arriving at Cody's which is in an adorable yellow house, in the village of La Jolla, offers the best environment for inside or outside dining. I like breakfast there as the menu and food is so very wonderful, but lunch is just as inviting. In the winter,... More

Cody's served very well executed small dishes. We loved the sliders trio and the meatballs. I wish they would offer more options on the menu, and more vegetables. Wine list is pricey. Atmosphere is very pleasant and service is friendly.

We ate on the balcony, and had a beautiful view of La Jolla Cove. It was extremely difficult to find parking, which is typical in this area. Unique menu items. Our group had the ceviche, breakfast salad, all american breakfast, & bacon & cheddar omelet. Everything was delicious, staff was knowledgeable & efficient.

We were seven to have lunch after a quick walk around the cove (the smell is terrible these days thanks to sea birds and sea lions). While the salads were fine, some other dishes were more than average. My Mahi Mahi Mexican style was poor. I could not eat the tacos and the mixture of sea food, vegetables and something... More

Had a fantastic breakfast. The blueberry pancakes were most excellent, and the bacon and cheese omelette was as good as any I've ever had. Only complaint--the guacamole was lame--come on Cody--tourists may not know good guac but the locals do! Get the grilled potatoes--just super! Really nice patio area coupled with great food means I'll be back!

Cody's is the type of breakfast place that they keep filling your coffee mug without even having to ask. The servers are all friendly and dedicated. We went for breakfast twice which breaks our usual rule of trying new places but it was too good to not go back. Omlets, bacon with great flavor, granola, grits, and French toast. All... More

This review is based on their night menu. I know that Cody's is known for their breakfast/brunch and cocktails so when my cousin wanted to eat here the other night for dinner I was surprised that it was even open! There was live music playing and we were seated outside. The menu was small perhaps about a dozen items to... More

Well we have been visiting la jolla for a few years from Albuquerque and have loved the lobster roll this time it was less than inpressive. It's been a year and a half since being here and the lobster roll was mainly roll. The price is outrageous for what you get which is bread. We won't be back!
