Spent the day in La Jolla ate here for lunch. Amazing house guacamole with walnuts & pomegranate seeds. Delicious tacos, couldn't fault the place. Waitress was very good.

Some of the best guacamole that I've ever eaten! It had pomegranate and walnuts in it! The tacos were amazing too..we got chicken and fish tacos...the ones with the "crispy cheese" were delicious. Great little taco place!

Upscale take on classic tacos and Mexican food. Chips and salsa to start. Chips were excellent salted, crisp. Added parmigiana guacamole. Sounds strange and is basically chunks of good parm on classic guac. Strange combo but it worked. You can mix and match tacos or they have some prechosen entrees. Mixed barbacoa, carnitas and a soy potato. All really good... More

We are not used to Mexican food, but there seems to be a lot of fuss over very little. The tacos were ok, but not very spicy and presentation looked a little like a dog's dinner. The meal was certainly over priced. Mic hael, Nottingham.

We had lunch here and boy was it good. I chose the 3 taco option. I had the Chicken al pastor, Filet mignon & Carnitas. To drink i went for a great local craft beer so chose an Argua marla sirena pilsner which was so refreshing on sunny day we were experiencing. Waiters were very helpful and ambient was great.... I had the chicken al pastor taco and the cactus and zucchini taco. Worth the price, in my opinion. If anything, I'd consider it comparable to the rest of the restaurants in the area! best tacos I've ever had! I sat at the bar, the two bartenders were very attentive and caring. great experience!

I have been to Puesto a half dozen times with my foodie wife (so obviously we like it). They serve fancy versions of street tacos in a hip environment with service that is generally very good. However, these tacos stop being 'street' when they cost $5-10 each...so these are expensive for tacos, but at under $50 for dinner with beers... More

Excellent drinks. We had red sangria & margaritas. The guac was okay - tasted like avocados were about a day away from being truly ripe. Tacos were really good. My personal favs were the fish tacos & the chicken pastor. Would definitely go again & explore the menu some more.

We are hard on tacos and this place is phenomenal. We stopped in during the art fair. Super busy but fast turnover and service. Crab guacamole was great and enormous for an appetizer portion. Had carnitas, swordfish, and lobster tacos and all were amazing. Also had the mango Agua Fresca which was a delightful surprise. Can't wait to come back... More
