First time visit..., tried Donavan's last year around the same time. Our yearly visit to San Diego - Chicago weather in the winter just sucks. Anyway, first of all and foremost service was excellent - Cory took care of us in a hard to match way - what a gal! She was excellent and some! The food was equally as... More

The food really was good especially the steamed sea-bass, but o me the meal was simply overpriced, probably due to the area. I am not one to shy away from dropping cash on great food but sometimes i feels better about it than others. Service was good but not great.

Have had several great experiences at Eddie V's in Dallas, so we figured it would be a good bet while in La Jolla. Unfortunately the very high quality steaks were over-cooked, perhaps "medium" in a CA steakhouse is different than medium in Dallas. They didn't have mashed potatoes on the menu, only lobster potatoes which tasted fishy, so much so... More

My husband and I have been here twice now to celebrate occasions. It's nice going to a place where you really get what you pay for! The service, ocean view, and most importantly the food is outstanding. This is our go-to for a romantic dinner. This is a pricey place but not terrible...Each time we got 2 drinks each, a... More

Went for a friends birthday, was excellent! We ate out on the terrace with a wonderful view of the La Jolla coast. Fresh seafood at a table with a "fire" is hard to beat. Hard to beat Eddie V's in any city!

This is a Holday week at Eddie V's. Celebrated a late lunch with my two sons. My experience was a little different... as a rule they only serve lunch on the weekends, so there was no VALET. Not a problem, as there was public valet a block away. There were window tables available, but we were seated in a 'wall... More

We have been Eddie Vs in San Diego a lot of times. We love the food and the service is great. The La Joya should be even better because of the view ..... but......service is just terrible!

Our out of town guests were extremely impressed. The view was spectacular, the service was superb and the food was terrific. They even got my 'special' cocktail correct and had fun with it. That being said, I thought the wine was a little pricey and my Shrimp could have been cooked a little longer, but the steak was the best... More
