Very casual place. Everything is fresh & very tasty. They serve healthy enjoyable food & portions are a good size. The soups are especially enjoyable. The main downside is that the decor & seating is so basic. The upside is that it is good value. Especially for La Jolla. Best for lunch or early evening.

Came for an early dinner. Had the beef jeonggol. This was tasty. The service was a bit slow and we had to ask for silverware twice. The self serve banchan was skimpy with few choices although I will give the kimchee a thumbs up. Not sure I'd come back. Might be better off trying another Korean place.

Welcomed lunch surprise -- just what we were looking for after visiting the Cove. Enjoyed the buffet style sides and menu had a good variety. We ordered dukbokki and a beef with rice pot (bulgogi). Good portion sizes and pleasant surroundings. Restaurant is very casual - free wifi.

I climbed up the steps to the second floor of Little Korea for dinner on Wednesday night. It is perched above the intersection of Girard and Prospect and only a block from the Cove. There was only one other table in the restaurant at the time.I order the BBQ Chicken Bibimbob. It arrived quickly and very hot. The waitstaff was... More

Found this gem of a place on Google maps and decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised. It's a very small place but the service was quick. The food was outstanding and you can't find a better value at such great quality.

This is a little place tucked on the second floor right in the center of the village. I find the Korean food pretty good for the area which is not known for alot of asian food. If your craving Korean food in La Jolla this is the place to go.

Cheap, delicious, and convenient. I ordered the Original Ramen mild. Could easily see myself coming back on a regular basis. Surprised it wasn't busier.

Best part of this place was the little open air (red) bar where we had Great fried seafood dumplings with a glass of inexpensive wine with an excellent view. Spareribs were really tasty. Prices were very reasonable. It is worth the climb up the stairs if you are on a budget and don't mind the salty sticky stair railings.

Very authentic Korean food, very tasty, and cheap. My husband lived in Japan and was very impressed with the quality and authenticity of the food.

This is a little restaurant tucked up on a second floor off Prospect St on a street slopes down to Scripps Park. It's very basic but the Korean food really is top notch and not expensive. They have a small balcony and there are two tables that give a nice view of the palm trees, the park, and the sea.... More
