Came recommended from a local and did not disappoint! Friendly waitstaff and made to order food.. no frozen crap here! Artichoke scramble was delish and rosemary potatoes were perfectly cooked! My bf had the breakfast tacos and loved them.. salsa was fresh and perfectly accompanied the dishes.. would come back for sure!

Eat here! Traditional feeling, great service, best breakfast around! The place is very popular, and for good reason. Great menu, and a bit of character surrounds the place. If there's a line.. It worth it! Eat Here!

The location is something you have to find, not on Prospect. Small restaurant, good food, good portions.

Met a business colleague here for breakfast on a Friday. Pro tip: get here by 8 and you'll miss the crowds. When I arrived, I was the only customer--but by the time we left around 9:30, the place was packed and folks were waiting to be seated. It did get pretty loud, but the food was great. I enjoyed the... More

Loved the breakfast at this place. My husband and I shared the Chilaquiles and with a fried egg and it was really, really good. In fact, we told our server we wanted to share the dish and they kitchen divided it up for us on separate plates without us asking. Coffee was great too. The quality of the food was... More

My favorite place to have a power breakfast for lunch. Indoor/outdoor seating with prompt service and super healthy choices on the menu. I also enjoy the lettuce cups.

Retro feeling joint in LaJolla. It has kinda of that diner feel, but with it being in LaJolla, you know it will be somewhat upscale. There are no water views to distract you from your dining experience. Here, they have to rely on their food to bring customers back. They do not disappoint. First, you can sit outside or inside.... The Coffee Cup has a few locations in the San Diego area. This spot in the heart of La Jolla is a neighborhood favorite. They have healthy options for protein lovers or try their french toast if you want something delicious and sweet. Their coffees are pretty darn good as well. A must try for breakfast on your vacation to... More

Small intimate diner, good service, good prices, great choice and delicious food. This is my second visit, the first 4 years ago, I will return.
