We have eaten here many times and each time has been excellent! I always order the Seafood Louie and have never been disappointed. We've been upstairs and downstairs and love both areas... The place is very popular and the food is wonderful!

We had fish combination tacos. I had the fish and fish/calamari combo, wife had ahi tuna plate. Both were great. We had glass of house wine and the bill was $40, so by La Jolla rates a good value. Not much on ambiance and service was fine.

It's a little expensive but this is your go-to place in SD area for super fresh seafood. The fish, oysters, shrimp - everything is top notch, always fresh, and delicious! Fish tacos, salads, sandwiches, soups - it's all good and absolutely worth the higher prices. You can get fried fish anywhere but if you want grilled or sashimi, I highly... More

Imagine a very high quality piece of white fish served poached with rice and black beans, with no seasoning of any kind on the plate. Adding salt just made it taste salty Excellent quality and very fresh, but completely uninspired. Also had the poke tuna, which was oversized chunks of very fresh high quality tuna sprinkled with a few sesame... More

Nice place to have a casual lunch or dinner. Not too fancy and just the right atmosphere for this type of place. The food is good and seems fresh enough. Food came out quickly, but they did forget to bring out one part of our lunch order. Service was fine but not anything to write home about. Some servers seemed... More

As an alternative to the Taco stand just on the opposite side of the street, this is a much bettet and original place. The salmon burger is delicious. The clam showder as well. Excellent lemonades! Fast and friendly service and patio outside. Great

The food was great - fresh, tasty and filling. A very busy atmosphere but the wait wasn't long for a table. Great eating on a budget.

fun energy, good beer, decent service and they know how to cook fish. What else could you possibly want? Oh, yeah, that's right. Not expensive, either.

We ate here twice during our weekend in San Diego, it was that good! We had been here years ago when they were just a small operation but serving up incredible fish sandwiches and tasty ahi tuna plates. Their new space is amazing, and they are still putting out quality plates of the freshest fish. We ordered the chowder, a... More
