The food was delicious and the salmon was the best I ever had. Make sure to get there early to get a seat.

Lol don't be fooled, the vegetables are not from the garden their from Costco as well as the chicken unless Aaron can get it cheaper somewhere else that week. The salmon isn't fresh locally either it's shipped in from a distributor. The one thing that...does come from the grounds are the little eatable flowers. Not to mention the fact that they don't have anyone there that's certified in proper safe food handling which if I'm not mistaken is illegal. How do I know all this you ask well we were foolish enough to buy into Aaron's crap but don't take my word for it go and talk to any other local businesses or people there.More
Mr. Kocher's personal issues are too many, too deep and too dark to discuss here. None of his claims are true except the Nasturtium flower garnish. Suffice it to say that an examination of all the other 52 TripAdvisor reviews speak to his falsehoods. The...More
Wonderful laid back evening with BBQ salmon or chicken dinner with veggies and rice. Fresh and flavorful! It’s prepared right in front of you while you listen to live music. After dinner the music continues for another hour, so chill and perfect way to finish...a nice relaxing evening.More
Salmon was top notch. Chicken was perfectly cooked. Family of 10 left very satisfied. Great ambiance and music. Will definitely be back and would highly encourage anyone to stop in.
We needed to find a place where a large group of 40 could eat and hang out to visit all in one spot, this place was perfect! The kids could all go play out in their large grassy area with swings, slides, volley ball, etc....while the adults could visit and listen to music while the meal was being prepared. A beautiful and quiet setting out in the woods off the beaten path and close to Crescent City where we were staying. Some of the best salmon I'd ever tasted, so fresh and the best marinade! Great price too.More
Aaron and his crew were amazing! They hosted myself and 39 family members at their weekly BBQ during our recent family reunion. They were very accommodating and easy to work with. Their food was delicious! I personally, highly recommend the salmon! Their space was perfect;...including the deck for dinning, the fire pit for s'mores, the play structure for the kids and the grass field with the volleyball net for the teens. The music was awesome as well. We could not have selected a better location to accomodate and feed all of us! This was not my first time at Kamp Klamath and certainly won't be my last! Keep in mind it's BYOB and drinks are not provided. But drink prices in the little store are very fair.More
The people here were polite, friendly, and welcoming. The salmon though, was so delicious that even if they had not been as friendly, I would still go back. This is worth every cent, and easily the best thing happening on a Saturday night in Klamath.
We were camped at Kamp Klamath in 2013, but had to leave before the Bar-B-Que. We said that if we ever got back to California, we were not going to miss it again. It was worth the wait! The salmon was the best I’ve ever...had—I went back for seconds and thirds!! The rice was yummy, and the veggies and salad completed the meal. The band, The Mighty Steelheads, were great—good vocals and guitar and drums, and a nice selection of songs! A super evening with our fellow campers!More
The campground is located two moles off Hwy 101 in Klamath Ca , the campground sites are full hook up, and during the summer they have a Deck barbecue featuring Salmon or chicken rice pilaf and stir fry veggies and salad. They bring in a...local country Rock Band that was very good for entertainment .Cost per adult $19.95 included the barbecue and evening entertainment. We enjoyed going to the Redwood forest and the coastal scenic drive both just a short distance from the campground.More
The ambiance is fantastic... a large open-aired patio built on the remnants of an old burnt-down cabin, fireplace still intact! As I sipped on a delightful glass of wine, overlooking gorgeous nature all around, listening to the laughter and chatter of other happy campers, the...live band was hopping and fun filled the air! The food is excellent and literally... all you can eat! Campground owner and host Aaron Funk entertained with humor and warmth. I will be back! Thank you!!!More
