Don't miss out on driving the detour up to Kernville to try the most amazing breakfast there. I have never tried that good eggs bennie especially!

We have always been told to seek out where the locals eat and this place is where everyone pointed to. It is a small little joint in the center of town. Friendly staff and fast service. No frills kinda place. At first glance you may think the prices are a little high until your plate hits the table. The portions... More

This has always been our "go to" place for breakfast when we visit Kernville. The only drawback is that it's quite small and usually requires a wait unless it's warm enough to eat at the outside tables. Despite always being rushed, the staff are quick, efficient and friendly. They serve large portions of the usual breakfast fare, hot and tasty.... More

Breakfast here is always a treat. The staff is friendly in this little tiny breakfast restaurant. Large portions served hot!

Understand this is an 8 table very simple diner. But the diner food is varied and has some home made feel. I had a bean, ham and bacon soup obviously made from scratch. A pastrami sandwich was equal to the best of our home in NY. My had a great scrambled omelet. The two friendly waitresses worked as a team... More

Mostly locals so just accept that preference may be given at busy times. Good breakfast and lunch menus at great prices.

This place makes you feel like you belong. Although it is small, the staff was kind and helpful. Food was outrageously delicious.

My parents owned a diner for over 30 years and finding a good one can be tough! This place is small quaint and has giant portions of diner classics. I had a French dip. The au jus was amazing! Family all got breakfast. The corned beef hash was great too. Definitely worth a visit.

Had many meals there. Just plain good. Breakfast the chili verde skillet with a biscuit and gravy will fill you up and it is tasty. Friday nights the fish and shrimp are some of the best in the KRV. Saturday they have some real tasty prime rib with all the fixings. A little something for everyone.
