We planned a birthday dinner here for 10 people and were a tad disappointed. I had made the reservation weeks in advance, had checked back, and arrived to find we were told we had to wait in the bar for your table to open up....More
Salt and Stone is a fairly new restaurant and may need to refine it's cooking skills somewhat. My husband and I along with our former neighbors in Sonoma ate there on Monday 20th, our anniversary, and had a disappointing meal. The specialty of the night...More
Located in the heart of wine country, newly renovated, new owner. This place languished for years under the name Kenwood Restaurant. Not any more. New contemporary California menu, great wine list, and a friendly group of young very eager servers. Food, drinks and service with...More
We visited Salt & Stone on my wife’s birthday when we were staying in Kenwood. There were 7 in our party, 4 adults and 3 children ranging from 12 to 15. We had a lovely memorable evening. The food was excellent as was the wine....More

Ownere is pleasant and present. She gave us the impression she wanted us to have a great experience.
Food was great and the selection was incredible. We eat atmosphere and the setting is vineyard view.
Most Kenwood restaurants are free or a nominal charge if they don’t have the wine you bring to the restaurant. Salt is very new but definitely one of the best. Ask for DIANE the owner and say you read this review.
