We planned a birthday dinner here for 10 people and were a tad disappointed. I had made the reservation weeks in advance, had checked back, and arrived to find we were told we had to wait in the bar for your table to open up....More

The food, the staff, the view and their understanding of my gluten, cow dairy and soy restrictions completed this exceptional mail. I am already planning my next visit there.

Salt and Stone is a fairly new restaurant and may need to refine it's cooking skills somewhat. My husband and I along with our former neighbors in Sonoma ate there on Monday 20th, our anniversary, and had a disappointing meal. The specialty of the night...More

Located in the heart of wine country, newly renovated, new owner. This place languished for years under the name Kenwood Restaurant. Not any more. New contemporary California menu, great wine list, and a friendly group of young very eager servers. Food, drinks and service with...More

This is a newer place on the Sonoma Highway. It is first class. We were there for lunch, four of us, and all liked their selections. The lamb burger got high marks and the salads were well balanced and stood out in an area that...More

Run by the same folks who own Cafe Beaujolais in Mendocino, while the restaurant was disappointing in both service and cuisine, the Happy Hour is the bomb. Great menu, sliders and bar bites. You won't pine for Willi's Wine Bar as much! Patio is great when...More

Most Kenwood restaurants are free or a nominal charge if they don’t have the wine you bring to the restaurant. Salt is very new but definitely one of the best. Ask for DIANE the owner and say you read this review.
