We celebrated our anniversary during this Covid social-distancing era with a delicious steak dinner in this restaurant's beautiful and spacious outdoor dining area. The good service in such a nice setting (tables around a nicely landscaped pond) with views of the surrounding hills and vineyards...really felt special.More

We had a 7:45 reservation and only waited a few minutes past that before being seated. The outdoor area was beautiful, heaters at every table. The tables surrounded a lovely pond with lily pads. The ambiance was delightful.

We had great expectations for this restaurant. Dinner started off well with calamari appetizer but went downhill from there. Long wait to finally get dinner. It was delivered with apologies for the wait. Unfortunately our dinners were tepid in temperature and there was nothing crispy...about the crispy duck. The only thing hot was the Mac and cheese.More

Enjoyed lunch on two occasions in September. Excellent service, all Covid appropriate and outdoors surrounding the Koi Pond. Wonderful food and wines. Highly recommend the Lamb Burger! Will return anytime we return to Sonoma.

Visited one evening for dinner. Outside seating appeared to be safely socially distanced for covid reasons. We were seated near the bussing/servers station near the side entrance so it was a bit busy and noisy with a lot of server traffic. Meal was average, service...was good.More

This is and will be the most incredible end of a great day in wine country. Great food and drinks. Great service. Great views of the vineyards across the street. Literally perfect spot after a day drinking fantastic wines.

Food was great and very nice ambiance, even during CoVid. Plenty of outside seating. Very good service.

Kenwood is fantastic. We stayed at the Inn and ate at the Salt and Stone. Outdoor seating is fantastic. Staff courteous and helpful. Menu is diverse. Food and drinks are fantastic and all the while you get to be a part of the most amazing...views. Go. Don’t wait.More

TripAdvisor said closed but we swung by anyway and thank goodness we did. Serving dinner tonight, Tuesday until 9PM. The weather is extremely hot but the waitstaff didn’t miss a beat when it came to providing extra umbrella shade and noticing when our water glasses...were getting a bit low. The drink menu was amazing!! I had the Hummingbird, yum!!! We began our meal with steamed clams and continued with the filet. Probably one of the best steaks I have ever had! The ambiance was great with their throwback tunes from the 70’s and 80’s. If you’re on Sonoma highway, it’s a must stop!More

Came for dinner this past Sunday evening. Welcomed in the parking lot. By the hostess who was wearing her masked and seated us at a table near the koi pond. I had a feeling right then that this was going a wonderful experience. And I...was right. Our server was Modar who answered several questions for my wife about the pappardelle. Satisfied by his answers she ordered it and was not disappointed one bit. The pasta was fresh and the cuts of tomatoes and Parmesan cheese were delightful. If the wife is happy then everyone is happy. I opted for the crab Louie. I have not had crab Louie in about two years. The green salad was fair but the crab was fresh and plentiful. The avocado, eggs, and tomatoes were all fresh and full of flavor. A good choice. We will come back sometime soon. The service was excellent and the setting with the vineyards nearby and the mountains a stones throw away made for a very comfortable setting. The restaurant was full when we arrived about 7:45. My wife and I had a pleasant conversation with each other without having to shout. Everyone there seemed to be enjoying themselves. I know we did. Located less than a mile from Kenwood Inn and Spa made it easy to get to.More

Most Kenwood restaurants are free or a nominal charge if they don’t have the wine you bring to the restaurant. Salt is very new but definitely one of the best. Ask for DIANE the owner and say you read this review.
