The pot pie was incredible. Packed with chicken. Great flakey pastry. It was served with a green salad and a wonderful ranch dressing. The service was fast and friendly. Good atmosphere. Nice place for families. There is a patio in the back of the restaurant. That is where we sat, because we brought our dog. They gave us water and... More

We used to dine here every time we were in Julian or passing through. We stopped here for a late breakfast, early lunch and it was terrible. I ordered an egg sandwich and it was so dry, it was not edible. Nothing else came with it, although it was served with a pickle (?) and this was almost $8.00! The... More

This is a pretty ordinary restaurant, kind of cute. But don't get the ostrich burgers. They taste awful, like a combination of wet cardboard and chicken manure.

Very disappointing. The hostess is too busy to seat you right away due to taking care of customers bills. It's eerily dark. The service was ok. The ladies that work there don't seem very happy. Food took too long. My medium rare Patty Melt was overcooked and the bread overwhelmed the small serving of meat. The water tasted funny too.... More

The freshly baked apple pies are just yummy. And since it was Julian, we tried some other pies on teh menu such as the excellent chicken pot pie

Overpriced cold expensive. Nuff said. Denny's is a step up. This place has been here for years so maybe an off day visiting Christmas Eve day. Won't give it another chance.

Having lived in the San diego area, I´ve been visiting the little mountain of Julian the last 30 years. Rongbranch has been a me favorite stopping point for me since that time. Over the years it has changed, but the way it is now is as cool as it ever was. Be it for good or bad I always order... More

I ate here twice recently. First time was in the evening and they had the Chicken pie on special which was medium to small size. I had it and a bowl of chili which was great. As I went out to pay I noticed the fudge so I bought a square of peanut fudge and it was delicious. if you... More

The servers are always friendly and welcoming and the food is delicious. I especially enjoy the Asian salad, the honey-fried chicken and the BBQ feast, which is enough food for my husband and myself. The bread pudding is our favorite dessert here, but the pies are also yummy, and the fudge is worth going off my diet for! The atmosphere... More
