Nice little place. Very cutely decorated inside. Prices are a little high but that's normal for the tourist area of Jullian. Staff was wonderful too

My wife and I decide to stop here and experience the soda fountain experience. The decor was excellent so was the chocolate shake Fry's and Fountain Cherry Coke. I would give it 5 stars but the waitresses were just a little slow.

Julian can be a zoo during the summer. Finding a place to eat can be tough. But you can usually get a table here. It's way informal and the scenery in the rooms are an interesting diversion. Especially the trains that circle the room high overhead. Normal soda fountain menu. Good choices for kids and they really like the place... More

They have a old fashioned counter like in drug stores-in years past. The best milk shake in town. Great vegetarian Garden Burger and salads. It is hard to find enough vegan food. Great place to eat alone or with friends and family.

So cute. Large portions and not terrible. But expensive for the two of us, but those shakes are super yummmmmy. Candy Mine next door is really cute. The little mine below has the noise of a mine shaft play every few minutes. This little fella kept running and laughing saying "that scared meeee". Cute. All in all good service and... More

If camping around the town of Julian make sure to stop this very small town. We enjoyed lunch with kids at Miner's Dinner. Old fashion fountain drinks and good meals. My children loved the root bear floats, fried pickles, onion rings, and chili. No alcohol is served here.

This soda fountain offers burgers, fries, fish and chips and more plus sodas, cones, and old fashioned shakes and sundaes. The atmosphere is relaxed and enchanting. Watching a train circle the room as you sip your coffee allows you to just chill. The food was very good and the warmth of the staff compliments the food.

The restaurant is really nice with decoration of a non-stop train running around the restaurant and a candy shop for kids' exploration. Food is yummy especially a piece of apple pie and a hot apple cider!

An easy one hour drive East of downtown San Diego is Julian. There is not a shop or restaurant in this town that does NOT serve Apple Pie! Miner's Diner was great...basic diner food...but nice atmosphere

I love the decor of this quaint little soda fountain in the middle of Julian. Especially liked the old tins and bottles displayed in the side room. Their is a model train that circles the walls that would intrigue young conductors. I ordered the California BLT with avocado. It was very good but so big I couldn't eat it all.... More
