I will start be saying that I was sure I submitted a review for this fine place last year. But alas, it looks like it was stuck in draft for the past year. The wife and I went there last year on June 15th, 2015 the day before our 31st anniversary. We had made reservations and the young lady failed... More

Cute decorations, friendly folks working there, and good nibbles to be had for a between meal enjoyment. Really cozy when it is raining outside (our circumstances) and just a fun place to drop in on.

Charming tea house with wonderful selection of teas and good prices. Located just off Main Street through town, which makes parking easier and your visit less hectic without the big crowd.

We chose the full tea and sandwich menu which far exceeded our expectations. The service was exquisite and the food was not only wonderful, but beautifully presented. Not to miss.

I had not been to the Tea Cottage for 10 years but found it to be just as wonderful as I remember it to be! I went with a good friend whom I have known for 40 years and we had their afternoon tea for two. Sandwiches were great, scones to die for, and the tea was really good. I... More

My friends and I came to town and looked up places to try and thought - perfect! We decided on "The Cottage Classic" ($24.95). It comes with a cup of pumpkin soup (not vegetarian) with cheese savory, 5 finger sandwiches, scone with whipped cream, homemade lemon curd and jam, dessert and tea. Do ask about the soup, it is NOT... More

When I was researching a day trip to Julian, Ca., I was totally surprised that they had a Tea Room there, I just had to make reservations. I'm so glad I did. :) We like to think we are aficionados of Afternoon Tea (being Brits and all) So, at first I was a little disappointed that we were not going... More

We always make a point to have lunch here when visiting. The tough part is getting in. Plan ahead and make a reservation several days in advance or you may miss out. During Apple Days (Sept - Oct) it is hard to just walk in anywhere. In spring you have a better change. I recommend their pumpkin soup and the... More

Everything tea --and more! Unending assortment of teas--both loose and bags. They even had our No. 1 Ladies Detective Tea (from the well-known book series). Their card selection is a bit different from the norm, as well as a very extensive collection of various kitchen tools and accessories. The tea cottage is an excellent source for that gift for someone... More

My daughter & I made a reservation for afternoon tea and ended up the only ones in the tea shop! It was a Monday afternoon and it was wonderful. The staff/server were all so friendly and the food was wonderful! And the tea....oh my! They had the largest tea selection to purchase I've ever seen!
