Great apple pie and apple dumplings! Large selection of baked goods and the prices were reasonable. Good place to stop if you like pies.

Great pies and service. We usually go on a weekend attached to a holiday. It is always so busy that a waiting line extends outside along the sidewalk. Bettet to go in the middle of the week.

I got the boysenberry, and my wife got cherry. The pie was good, but was served in those cheap little cardboard trays with plastic forks. That made the whole thing feel kind of cheap and mass-produced.

Go early as it gets quite busy at prime meal time. It is worth the wait for these pies, we had apple of course. Julian is a cute little town.

Found this place on tripadvisor. There's more than one pie shop you can choose from in this city. You probably can't go wrong with any of them. However we did enjoy our visit here very much. We split a chicken pot pie which was delicious and the flaky crust apple pie was awesome. And we enjoyed their free Wi-Fi while... More

Visited Mom's yesterday for apple pie. Oh my! Flakey crust and the juiciest apples! Mouthwatering! Ambience is so-so and I'm guessing no one in Julian can accomplish a flakey bottom crust. Still loved the pie and left the crust.

I tried the apple boysenberry pie and my wife had the apple. Both were great. My daughter had the cinnamon ice cream and loved it. The portion and price was good also.

It's generally quite busy here... the line can go out the door. Pies are wonderful.. you can often watch them being made in the window overlooking Main Street. Good place to stop for a quick lunch ... minimal lunch menu, usually sandwiches and pot pie offered.

We were looking forward to going here after not having been to Julian since 1999. It was such a great pie place. We were disappointed by our last visit. The size of the slice of pie was dismal, as was the tiny scoop of ice cream. I complained to the Manager on my way out, but she was not feeling... More

Dear Marcelle, Thank you for your feedback. I was not aware that you had spoken to a manager on your way out of our store- your money should have been refunded at that point - my apologies. Your Yelp review did not mention this fact. I am not the person that you spoke to that day but I AM the... More

The town of julian is famous for their apples and Mom's Pie House is famous for their apple pies. Their pies are the best in town and you will want to leave with several.
