Several locals recommended Apple Alley for best pie. We had a slice. Then we ordered three pies For pickup the next morning. That should tell you what we thought of the pie. Nice girls on staff.

You drove by the town and smell of apple! This bakery serves really good apple pie, nothing fancy, you bought the pie and sit outdoor and enjoy it!

It was a brisk 50 degrees the morning we were there. I wanted hot apple cider but was told at another place they didn't have any, it was out of season. At Apple Alley's it was no problem, they heated the cold cider for me. We have a turnover which as supper good with a flaky crust and when we... More

I was referred to this bakery by a local business owner. I had tried the other major bakers and thought I would give it a try. The pie was excellent. Not my favorite crust but overall a very good pie.

The lady behind the counter was very nice, we ordered 2 gluten free pies and one regular apple crumb pie! they were very delicious! They even kicked in some strudel! This was the only place we could find i town that had Gluten free apple pies.

Whenever we go to Julian, Apple Alley is the only place we go anymore. I believe I have tried most of the apple pie places in Julian and none stand up to Apple Alley. It is small, but there is a fair amount of seating outside. The selection is good and the flavors of the pies are solid. It is... More

Called in here on the way to Palm Springs from San Diego, taking a scenic route. We'd been advised that this town was renowned for the quality of it's apple pie and it was obvious from our stroll around the town that there was a lot of places serving this to choose from. We opted for this and whilst we're... More

A nice little place with homemade pies. The apple is delicious. Try and get a day old pie for about 5 dollars cheaper

After eating lunch at a nearby restaurant, a walk was necessary to make room for the reason I came to Julian. I recall eating Apple Alley Bakery apple pie with my parents over.... let's just say many - okay MANY - years ago. The quality, aroma, and satisfying flavor has remained excellent throughout those decades. When I hear Julian mentioned... More
