The restaurant was packed on a cold night in February. The food was fine although it was a little too sweet.

The lunch time special at $10.00 is the best value in town. Great Thai food, delightful serving staff. The same family has had this business for years. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.

So it being Labor Day we called ahead to make sure they were open. Yes, they said - as long as you get here and order by 7:15 pm. We got there by 6:50 to be on the safe side, but they said they weren’t...able to serve us. If you don’t want to open on Labor Day that’s fine - stay closed. If you want to close at 7 pm that’s fine also - just don’t waste our time by telling us you’re open until 8 pm! Went back to the Joshua Tree Saloon & Grill instead - much more welcoming!More

I live locally. Royal Siam is always on the top of my choices, and I eat out often with friends. I have rated this restaurant before, and what I have found is authentic Thai food , done well, consistently! I have been to Thailand often,...and this is the real deal! I often order a spice level 2 and find it satisfies my desire for well prepared Thai food without simply accenting the “hot”. My guest had Jungle Curry, and I had Panang Curry. Both were excellent! Best time is mid to late afternoons mid week. Weekends can get crazy here with tourists, so the service will be adversely affected; small kitchen and one cook only. Sawadee! Chef JPMore

I live locally, but Royal Siam is always on my list of favorite eating spots up here in the Hi Desert. A friend and myself planned a late afternoon lunch. Great time to go; no wait, no rush, kitchen has time to make it perfect!...Any dish here is excellent! Their “heat” scale is 1-5, and they won’t cook a 5; too hot! So here I usually order a 2 heat scale, whereas elsewhere I might order a 3. So watch your heat/ spice tolerance. Great food; great service, especially in off hours! 👍 I’ve been to Thailand 4X, and this is the Real Deal! Enjoy! Sawadee!More

Some reviews warned/complained of slow service, I wouldn't say that was the case, just a busy little restaurant that I guess is usually full, as it was when we visited. Service was good and at a comfortable pace; food was very good - we had...vegetable pad Thai; green chicken curry (which came with rice) and some chicken satay. Would certainly visit again.More

It was nothing special, but genuine Chinase (or Siamese) food is sometimes special for simply the Asian taste! Easy to find on the main highway, dishes used lots of fresh vegetables, which we like.
