Some Tuesdays I'm sad, because that's the day that Royal Siam is closed. The lunch special, with soup, wonton, egg roll, rice, and entree, is the best lunch deal in town. Royal Thai Basil was my go-to dish for a while, but lately I've been branching out to the curries, which are flavorful but not spicy unless you ask them... More

This is the only Thai food spot in Joshua Tree. It's definitely not bad, but not the best. The Pad Thai was great and they are able to do vegetarian dishes for all of the entrees (with tofu).

I am a repeat customer. This place is a locals' favorite. Dont judge a book by its cover, this place is as clean as they come and the kitchen is spotless. Although the decor could stand some updating, the food is always perfect. Family owned and family run, you cannot find better thai food in California.

My wife is Thai and a very good cook. Normally she complains about "American Thai" cooking as it sweetened and the usual time consuming Thai preparation is lacking. Not here. In years of hunting around we have found only three restaurants that satisfy her demand for authenticity in the entire L.A. Area and this is one. We visit there about... More

We ate here 2 years ago and rated the restaurant favorably. The waitress said management has not changed, but the food sure has. The Thai spices in the tom yum were overwhelmed by sweet sugary taste; spices in the salad were drowned out by gobs of iceberg lettuce and tasteless chunks of chicken. Disappointing.

Looking for good food? Try this place for lunch. Fantastic lunch specials with soup and more. If you are into spicy food then you have to try their different sauces.

I needed something for lunch quickly and this was just the place. I ordered pad Thai and it only took a few minutes for them to have it ready and for me to be on my way. The dish was also very tasty. I enjoyed it.

Spice levels are Thai standard. If you are at all sensitive to do spiciness, go for level 2! The reason I'm not giving it 5 is because we waited 45 mins after being seated for our appetizer. Food is amazing ... I'm glad I came here :)

Small family restaurant. Food was tasty. Fried rice was awesome!!! Teriyaki chicken, pad thai, curry were all great. Not enough space for groups greater than 8.

My husband and I eat here whenever we are in the area. The service and food are wonderful. Our favorites are Panang curry and Pad Kee Mao.
