If you're in the Joshua Tree/29 Palms area, you know there aren't many options for breakfast. That being said, the Crossroads Café is a good choice. They offer traditional breakfast favorites, plus some local specialties. Additionally, they have a large coffee menu that you can...order a variety of espresso drinks from. The service was prompt and friendly as well. There is only outdoor seating for now, but there are perhaps 10 tables outside. The only reason I didn't rate it higher is because we felt the prices were a bit high for breakfast. I would still recommend the Crossroads Cafe to anyone looking for breakfast in the area.More

We came out from hiking in Joshua Tree National Park very hungry . We were greeted Immediately and sat in front. My wife had Chili n Corn bread , I couldn't believe she ate the large bowl it came in . I had the Ques-Chix...that filled the whole plate and was delicious .More

We dropped in at the Crossroads Cafe without any research or information for a late afternoon lunch. What a happy surprise. Food was delicious, portions ample, and service friendly. I had the albacore tuna salad sandwich with a side of the arugula salad. My husband...had the “Roadside sssCombo,” opting for a bowl of the soup (chicken tortilla?) and a Caesar salad along with the mac&cheese. We were both especially pleased with the salad sides — both in terms of the taste and portion size. Would strongly recommend this restaurant to any one passing through the area.More

We stopped here after leaving Joshua Tree for lunch. Our food was very good and fresh. My husband got a hamburger with salad and I got a blt with soup of the day. Others around us ordered breakfast and it looked good too.

There aren't many places to eat out in JT but thank goodness what they do have is very good. We arrived on a Friday night for the weekend and ate dinner at the Crossroads Cafe. Burger, Taco, Ahi Tuna were all very good. We noticed...they had a very enticing breakfast menu so we headed there Saturday morning. Some online information states they open at 8:00 AM but they actually open at 7:00 AM so get there early one the weekend as the tables can fill up. Their version of eggs bennedict is delicous. French toast was deliciouos. Everything was delicious! We grabbed a couple of the huge homemade brownies to enjoy later and they were also delicious!More

I had the combo breakfast - eggs, bacon, homefries, pancakes. I'm a big eater and this is my favorite breakfast go to, but this one was so big I had to take one of the cakes home for later (and it reheated very well). Nice...funky place, friendly staff, friendly clientele. It's a must do if you are in JT.More

This restaurant is near The Natural Sisters Café, so if you have to wait, you can go for a coffee there. The restaurant doesn't take bookings, you just walk in and write your name and the number of people down and then you're called when...it's your turn, which can be quite a while as the restaurant is very popular especially with the millions of young people hanging out in Yoshua Tree (what are they doing? Big mystery) We had our meal at the bar. It was very nice but the portions weren't very big and it wasn't cheap either. But the atmosphere is very nice and we could see into the kitchen and watch the staff prepare the food. All fresh and nice.More

I watched the staff squeeze fresh OJ late Fridat for their Satuday AM rush. The Crossroads Cafe food is wonderful. Everyone works hard. Not sure what your problem is, but the restaurant is far from “a dump”. Perhaps you want... More
