Had the vegetarian Soyrizo breakfast - was absolutely off the chart good. Fresh avocados, salsa, and tortillas just added to it - will be back for sure - and the service I might add was excellent.

Our group of 7 was happily fed and satisfied with delicious handmade burgers, fresh bacon BLTs, and a Thai Dye salad. The 70s music playing was so delightful and nostalgic. Great food, music, and nice people made an awesome find. We tried going back for...breakfast the next day but it was packed!More

What a amazing place and we’ll work the wait. Food was fresh and delicious. Try any of the burgers or quesadillas. We’ll be back for breakfast.

We went to Natural Sisters first (based on good reviews), but that was a tiny smoothie shop with no where to sit. Here, you could order a full breakfast & sit down to enjoy it. My partner & I sat at the bar & the...waitresses were attentive. It was oddly fun to watch the kitchen while enjoying my breakfast. Eggs, bacon, English muffin, fruit & coffee filled me up for a full day at JTNP.More

Loved it so much, some in our party ate it three mornings in a row! I only did twice (haha) and enjoyed the burrito and huevos rancheros. The staff is fantastic and the food is definitely worth the wait if there is one. Highly recommend!

Joshua Tree dining is very limited but this place was a nice little surprise for breakfast. I ordered corned beef hash that was very good and plentiful. My wife had Mike’s Mess which was also great. The local coffee was very good. Only minor issues...were that it was pretty cold inside (it was 40 F outside on a cold day) and reggae music a little loud. Overall might be nicest place in this small town.More

So what this place was built in 1950 for $2000 and hasn't been renovated or painted since! it gets my recommendation. I had a turkey club sandwich with chicken cilantro soup and I think it was excellent. Keep in mind that I am Mr. picky...and have no problems walking out of a restaurant if I don't like the way it looks.More

We ate every meal in Joshua Tree here. Excellent burgers, Ahi arugula salad, bounteous and delicious breakfast, ahi taco, club sandwich. Was very surprised at the quality of the food, as the restaurant decor is not very "upscale" in appearance. Highly recommend. Great friendly service,...Contrary to this site, the Restautant was open for dining and servers were maskedMore

Ate outside in side space. Very fresh ingredients. Next to road but that wasn't bothersome. There was a wide range of choices for breakfast.

We came here for dinner but it was busy. After we waited and got seated we discovered the menu is rather limited. Its more of a breakfast and lunch fares. Food is not bad but if you are looking for a more dinner dishes this...is not the place.More

I left a message with the staff to ask the owner to call me. No call back, so here we go: I was served something which was probably bacon, but I cannot be sure as it was unidentifiable. It appeared to be wood blackened from...a house fire. There was a faint taste of bacon cinders. Note to self: do not order bacon. Coming out of the restroom, there is an open door into the kitchen across the hall. I observed an employee on his knees with his arms about elbow deep in a bucket on the floor that contained Coleslaw. He seemed to be mixing it. I did not notice any gloves. Note to self: do not order Coleslaw. Wanting to give the place a second chance, my wife asked what time they close. She was told 2:00 p.m. We arrived the next day at 1:25 p.m. There was no line, open tables and nobody at the outdoor check-in desk. At 1:28 p.m., the hostess arrived to tell us (as my wife confirms) that nobody is seated later than 20 minutes before closing. I stated that it was not yet 20 minutes until 2:00 p.m. The reply was that she said 30 minutes. I pointed out that we got there at 1:25 p.m. and it was then 1:28 p.m. The hostess turned around and walked away. We will not be back.More

I watched the staff squeeze fresh OJ late Fridat for their Satuday AM rush. The Crossroads Cafe food is wonderful. Everyone works hard. Not sure what your problem is, but the restaurant is far from “a dump”. Perhaps you want... More
